After I made my payment (which took a little longer because the card reader wasn’t working properly), the pharmacist became very rude and visibly annoyed. Instead of being professional, they threw my medication bag at me and then walked off without saying a word. Totally unacceptable behavior and a very disrespectful way to treat customers.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the pharmacist at this location. They were extremely rude, constantly talking over me when I tried to speak, and never once asked if I had any questions about my medication. On top of that, the pharmacist literally threw the prescription bags at me instead of handing them over respectfully. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially when dealing with important medications. Very unprofessional and disappointing service.

I was behind a man at the Marc’s Pharmacy on Cleveland Avenue in Canton on September 28, 2025, and what I saw honestly horrified me. He was calmly showing the staff his phone because the Marc’s app said his prescription was ready. The tech helping him was really kind and respectful, trying to figure it out.
Then the pharmacist came out and everything changed. He wouldn’t even look at the phone, kept talking over the customer, actually tossed his phone back at him, and then threatened to call 911 if he didn’t leave. The guy wasn’t yelling or causing a scene — he just wanted to know where his prescription was.
As a customer standing there watching this, I was shocked. It was unprofessional, humiliating, and honestly made me feel uncomfortable about using this pharmacy myself. If this is how they treat people, Marc’s Corporate really needs to step in.

I had a very upsetting experience at the Marc’s Pharmacy on Cleveland Avenue on September 28, 2025.
The Marc’s app clearly showed that my prescription was filled and ready for pickup. I also confirmed by phone the week prior that it would be ready. When I arrived, the technician, Stephanie, was kind, professional, and respectful. She looked at the app on my phone with me, acknowledged the issue, and genuinely tried to help.
Unfortunately, when the supervising pharmacist became involved, the situation escalated. He refused to look at the information I was showing him, repeatedly talked over me, and even threw my phone back at me. He then threatened to call 911 if I didn’t leave, instead of explaining or resolving why the system showed my prescription as ready but they could not locate it.
For comparison, I was able to pick up another prescription during the same visit with no issue—both had been sent in by my doctor at the same time.
While I appreciate Stephanie’s professionalism, the pharmacist’s behavior was unacceptable, unprofessional, and hostile. No patient calmly seeking clarification about their medication should be threatened with police involvement.
This was a humiliating and distressing experience, and I will be escalating the matter to Marc’s corporate and the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.

Terrible customer service with the cashiers. Walks in there’s no shopping carts then tells me they’re all outside. Tried to use an electric one because I’m pregnant but I guess they weren’t charged and no one could help me. Goes to check out with BARB and she could care less about keeping her line moving. She’s just chatting and catching up with her friend like I’m invisible. The customer been paid and she’s still talking to her which felt like 10 minutes. It’s our turn finally and Barb puts none of our groceries in bags and just slings them on the table. Taking her precious time and only starts moving fast when another customer comes up behind us. Then she finally bags my last item just to throw the receipt in the bag and throw the bag at me as if I’m holding up the line. I feel discriminated against for my condition like she didn’t want to serve me and I know Marc’s is known for hiring workers with disabilities.

Great prices and selection for certain things. Friendly service and clean store! They have an Italian brand deluccia in a section which is great stuff.

Tamara was sort of rude while ringing me out. I was polite and said “hi how are you?” and nothing was said. She was aggressive slamming apples down to weight them.
She continued to ring me out awkwardly then when we were done I said thank you have a nice day and nothing again😂
I just find it rude when someone says thank you multiple times while you’re ringing them out to not acknowledge them at all for the duration of 10 minutes.

Make sure you have an extra 30 minutes to wait for one cashier to help 7 people.

So don't waste your time driving here today because despite their hours saying they are open today until 9 pm, they are not open on Christmas day. It would be helpful in the future to not just put a piece of paper on your door and instead change your hours online from open to closed on Christmas! That way, your customers don't spend their holiday driving around wasting precious time they could be spending with their family.
Thank you!

Marc's is a NE Ohio fixture. They generally have a good selection of items. Their seasonal clearance section is always fun to peruse--you never know what you'll find in there! Their pricing is competitive. The only downside is that they don't really have a proprietary, off-brand line of groceries, so you pretty much have to buy major brands. Overall, we love having a Marc's right down the road!

The pharmacy here is absolutely dreadful. They cut you off and get rude when you have a question. Their service to let you know about prescriptions being ready is severely lacking. This past Saturday I watched them talk down to an older gentleman about his medication about how it's hard for them to run a business losing money on his prescriptions. Prices change from week to week. This is the worst service for our prescriptions I've ever had in 20 years
