Castalia State Fish Hatchery is a wonderful destination for families, especially those with children. We came too late ti see the fish in the hatchery, but the blue lake was amazing to see. Feeding bread to the trout at the entrance was awesome and amusing. Definately a must see.

When I went there they were closed but right in front of the gate was a little river that had a lot of large steelhead trout in it. I do plan on going again when they are open

Make sure to bring your cereal and or bread, these fish love to eat! Great experience for children. Beautiful scenery.
