*** BEWARE ***
I would give 0 stars if it were an option! Where to even begin!?!?We purchased a vehicle on May 31, 2024. The next day, we had to return the vehicle to be checked because of the check engine light coming on. We were told it was a bad high pressure fuel pump. The pump and oil were changed and I was sent on my way. Less than 24 hours later, check engine light back on with the same problem. Between May 31st and August 8th, I returned my vehicle 4 different times with the same problem. Between those dates, I had my car a total of 5 days. The rest of that time, it sat at the dealership being "fixed." I was told at different times that there were multiple new parts being changed, but the dealership has not been able to provide any paperwork for the work or for the new parts. After picking up my vehicle a final time on August 8, 2024, after the dealership had it for 48 days straight, I once again started having the same problems. After going to a different mechanic, I am being told my vehicle needs almost $8,000 worth of work.
On top of the engine problems, we also had trouble getting the title work and the plates/registration for my vehicle. We purchased the vehicle May 31, 2024 but it was not even put into the dealerships name until June 28, 2024 and then finally being transferred to us on July 3, 2024 (This is a big reason why I think they kept my car for "repairs" for so long) We could do nothing with this vehicle until the paperwork caught up. (BMV calls to say they got the title work in and the dealership magically has my car "fixed" the very next day, but only after putting tons of miles on it!)
This dealership IS NOT trustworthy!

Update 9-9-24
We did NOT decline the money offered from Kerns Ford like they want to say. We responded with a message on the BBB complaint excepting the offer (I have proof). We were told we would need to sign and return paperwork before the check would be sent out. Still waiting to receive that paperwork. Very shady business and doesn't follow through with what they tell you!

Had our 2021 Expedition serviced by them on August 19th. They replaced a pinion seal and the battery. They forgot to do the recall even though I listed that as a concern when making the appointment and on the night drop form. I also asked for brake fluid to be replaced with new
which is a maintenance item and they could not do it due to not the right equipment. A Ford dealer that can't do maintenance on a ford really!!

Phenomenal Pricing! I needed new tires for my vehicle, they were able to have them next day and get me on the schedule! I was not going to be able to make my appointment and they said they were able to actually pick it up and deliver back to me for FREE! They got my new tires on and had my paperwork and vehicle ready before I got off to pick it up. Super easy process and friendly people! That you for making it so easy!

Stopped in after my tire lost pressure. They pulled the nail out and had it sealed and had me back on the road in 20 minutes! It was awesome. Excellent customer service!

They lie. There's no way my car only has 2/5ths of oil capacity after 2000 miles if they did the oil change like they said. Now I know why they refused to let me see the service record of what they had performed. The tpms sensors they said they replaced are already bad as well. Will not not buy a car from there again.

Biggest mistake I made was buying a car here. It wasn't two weeks after I bought it that I started having trouble with it. Sadly I bought the car as is no warranty. It has nickel and dimed me since and now I'm looking at repairs in the thousands. Word of advice. Don't buy as is on warranty. Or don't buy here at all.

Wouldn’t even give them a star if 0 was an option their only out for the money and don’t care about customers if the computer don’t tell them it’s broken they can’t fix it

As I told my husband, the car sold itself. Kern's was only lucky it was in their lot and not elsewhere. We drove over an hour to come check out a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited they had listed. I called ahead and found out that they had a few things incorrect on the online listing: said it had Bluetooth (it didn't), said it came with a soft top as well as the hard top in the picture (it didn't, but they "found one to throw in for us"). We were unsure based on the pics whether there was rust and was reassured over the phone there wasn't. There was rust along the bottom where we'd thought we saw it in the picture. While test driving we noticed the seat belts seemed really messed up, and the seatbelt indicator was always on. They looked at it when we got back and said a "professional" must have sewn in extra length. It did NOT look professionally done, and part of the piece the belt slides through had been sawn off! Also while test driving we realized the emergency brake didn't hold on any sort of a hill (a BIG deal for a manual vehicle). They said they'd fix it for us or we could take it as-is and get $284 off the price. That is the ONLY adjusting on price they were willing to make. We ended up letting them fix it for us, but when we got it 2 days later, the brake still wasn't fixed. At that point I didn't believe the mechanics knew what they were doing, because they claimed to have fixed it. They refused to cover repair expenses at any other shop. Finally I got them to send me a check for $284 just so I could be done dealing with them. Got it in to my trusted car repairman, and yep, just like I thought, the brake repair ALONE is closer to $550 (because the shoes are coming apart and need replaced and the rear axle is starting to leak on the right. Not to mention that BOTH catalytic converters need replaced and the battery too. I should've known better when they didn't even know the emergency brake wasn't working. My whole experience buying from them felt like I was being ripped off.
Editing because we found out that when they claimed they'd installed "off-brand tire pressure sensors" that wouldn't register and that's why the tire pressure sensor light came on, what they actually meant was it had no tire pressure sensors at all. Straight up liars, I'm disgusted. Rating changed from 2 stars to 1. I wish I could give them 0.

They were friendly when placing the order and delivery of the vehicle.
