The big white guy that works in the back where you drop off donations is very rude and disrespectful. We started pulling out our stuff and asked where can we put the stuff cause he didn’t say anything when we got out the car then he says “ bring it over here “ in a nasty tone, so if you come be prepared to have to check a big white guy looked like he was in 30s

I dont understand my disconnect with this store. I go to probably 40 thrift stores in every given week. I leave here empty handed 90% of the time. The one item I found in the store worth buying for me was a pair of shoes and it was at $40 today. Yet this store is always PACKED with people. I think this location is a front and they are sending the majority of the good items to the internet or doing business out the back or something. I find better items at the small strip mall Goodwill in Kettering. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

I don't need to be treated that way for just asking a question while making a donation. I will not be back.

Prices are too high, especially when compared to other Goodwill stores. It's gotten to the point where it's not worth shopping there anymore, and I don't even think I'll continue donating to this location. The whole point of going to a thrift store is to help those who can't afford brand new items. At this rate, it's cheaper to buy most of the items brand new.
Seems like they rarely have anything new. Books are priced WAY too high (recommend checking out the Dollar Book Swap in Dayton if you want fairly priced used books). Oher Goodwills price books individually, based on condition, for a lot less than $2.99. They also have no consistency when it comes to what they consider a children's book for the 5 for $10. Had to go back and forth with the cashier over a book she didn't think was children's. I tried showing her it was published by Scholastics and was a Newberry Award winner. I finally got irritated and said forget it.
Not sure if the issue lies with individual store management, or higher echelons, but something needs to change.
Very disappointed.

Nice store found some good finds and the staff I always interacted with are kind. It's definitely a hit or miss like all thrift stores but doesn't stop me from enjoying browsing. Always check back you never know what you'll find

Store is clean and well organized. I found the prices to be a bit high for my taste. When you ask yourself: “could I buy this new for the same price or less?” You know that prices are potentially out of the “thrift store deal zone.”

Bought a 99 cent coffee cup but wanted to check first to see if it was an actual made in England cup but the store had dumbly put the price sticker over the label showing the manufacturer. I brought it up to the register to check out and cashier Diane (who thinks the pandemic is still ongoing due to wearing a face mask that doesn’t even work to prevent disease) wouldn’t let me pull off the label to verify it was an actual made in England cup without a manager (the coffee cup was the only item I was buying!). Normally I would have bought the item first and pulled the label off then but since this goodwill doesn’t allow refunds to original payment (only gift cards) and requires the tag to be intact that wasn’t an option!
Also, when the manger finally came and let me check under the sticker before buying; he didn’t scold cashier Diane for wasting my or his time for a 99 cents item!

This store is starting to get out of hand with their INSANE markups on shoes…to the point it’s priced higher than retail/eBay prices. The fact a thrift store has shoes priced over $100 is absurd. The staff is nice, but the prices are not. But they can be said about all Goodwills in th Dayton area these days.

I frequent this goodwill and find nice items but I find it disappointing and unethical that they pull clothing off the racks, that are the color of the week. Why do color tags if they aren’t available to buy?
