My husband and I have been long time shoppers of Lowe's. We recently moved from California to Ohio. We wanted to do some home improvements and decided to use their contractors. Our first experience which unfortunately was combined with our second project. A garage door opener, simple right? We did get it installed relatively quickly. Within 9 days it stopped working. We called and reported it. Technician came out and determined. Part needed to be replaced. We were informed Lowes would order the replacement part and it would be sent to us at home. We could then schedule for that part to be replaced. 3 weeks later, my husband called to follow up. We were assured they would find out what the issue was and they would call us back. Just to make clear now...NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK, keep that in mind as I continue with my story. Husbands calls back again, and is told they are going to Just ship us an entire new opener. Okay, we hear from the installer, they schedule to come out and replace. Installer shows up, we don't have the garbage door opener and neither does the installer. My husband passes off the future calling to Lowe's Installation to me. I have 40+ years of customer service experience. I call. I am told that they will send a message to the store and they have 48 hours to respond. This as the installer is sitting here. I nicely told the lady that was unacceptable. To call the store, make sure they know I will do their job and come and pick up the garage door opener. That task has now been completed.After the door opener was first installed (before it broke down) we decided to go with Lowes for our fencing in the backyard. A gentleman from Lowe's came out, his name was Shawn. We had heard from reaching out to other contractors the back log was long. I specifically asked Shawn how long would this take? He said in 3 weeks we would have a fence. We have two dogs that have been confined to the house now for well over 2 months with the exceptions of walks. We received PART of our order that is sitting in our front yard. With no notification that it was going to be delivered or when. Okay! We hear from the installer, they wanted to schedule for the following week. We inform them we are missing one gate from our order. So! From the start of the story, while at Lowe's and I had access to an employee and manager, I bring up the gate. This was on A Thursday. They researched and found that another Lowes location had the fence were needed. They would get it picked up so it can be delivered to us with the other items necessary for that gate to be installed. Come to find our Shawn apparently didn't put the order in correctly. I call in Friday to find out if the gate was picked up and when could we be expecting it? Famous words, we will call you back. At 4:50 I called back and was informed that at 4:56pm they had sent someone to get that fence. That she would go ahead and submit for the installer to contact to schedule the work. I call back Monday to confirm the fence was there. The gentleman I spoke to told me it was there and he would put in the request for installers to contact me. So they also lie, as I was told this was done on Friday at 4:56. Later on Monday I called to ensure our items were going to be delivered? I was told an Anthony in delivery would be calling me to let me know when it would be delivered. No call. I call again, where I am put on eternal hold. Every once in awhile some one would pick up as I would hear voices, and I would be put back on hold. After 20 minutes of this, I hung up and got in my car and drive to Lowe's. I let them know I needed to speak to a manager where I was told "good luck, get in line" I begin to think this may not go well because at this point I wanted to drive my car into their building. Then a man comes towards me and asks if he can help. This man's name is Jerrod. It didn't even take him 5 minutes to get a resolution. the remaining items were delivered within an hour and a half.This should make me happy right? NO! I call the installe

Had a washer and dryer delivered and installed on 7/12/23. Delivery guys hooked up everything. Next morning dryer kept shutting off. Investigated and found the guys had smashed the dryer vent hose flat. Avoid any hook ups on appliances or anything from these goof balls. Surprised they have not burned down someone's house.

Lowes is always on point. If I can't find something, it doesn't take long to flag someone down that will assist. Not to mention, their customer service department is by far the best in the Miami Valley. As far as I'm concerned, they give five star service all day long. Specifically my girl Karen in CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We ordered 3 new doors & 2 storms from Lowes in Centerville, Ohio on Apr 3rd. A man came out & measured. 'WE' looked at the measurements & realized they were wrong. Another man came out to measure. The installers came in June. Only 1 of the doors was correct. The installers gave the measurements to the Lowe's door department for re-order. We are still waiting to hear if the doors have been delivered. We received a call that they would be in July 2nd. This is ridiculous.
