I came in as a walk-in yesterday to get a tdap booster because I scraped my arm on a rusty nail. The pharmacist was the sweetest woman ever. She made me feel at ease and was funny, it was the first time in a long time I haven’t been nervous to get a vaccine. I was in an out in a timely manner. I even found a coupon after I had already paid and they helped me with refunding almost half the money I paid. I can’t recommend them enough. By the way, GoodRX works on vaccines, not just pill prescriptions.

Excellent store, I visited it for the first time recently and felt it was a bit better than the local competitors in all areas.

I called to refill a prescription before work. The pharmacist was rude and interrupted me stating they were busy. She could neither provide me a time of when it would be ready nor if it would be ready. Long story short, after calling several pharmacies to get this prescription transferred, I was told I need a new script. I called the pharmacist back to inform her of this and she proceeded to state that she would have the prescription ready in an hour then hung up. As someone who works in healthcare, I was truly appalled that a pharmacist would treat any customer in this manner.

Our family uses RiteAid as our main pharmacy as it is one of few left that doesn't give us issues filling with Tricare. My only grievance is that on many occasions (since covid began) they are closed when they say they are open and there are times that my prescriptions are filled hours to a day later than they state. I understand that they are understaffed and likely burnt out. I don't fault the employees for this though as I realize in this environment that it is the companies and corporations that must change so that these professionals have incentive to show up, and to do so rested and unweary. A pharmacists job isn't easy. They spend their days haggling with insurance companies-as go betweens with doctors for preauths. They deal with disgruntled customers and have to be the middle man that tells a person on a fixed income that a life alteting medicine is uncovered and unaffordable. They also take an immense amount of liability if they have an oversight that a Dr should be responsible for such as an allergy, a medication interaction, even a health condition that may contraindicate use.I came here this morning frustrated as I'm dealing with a painful respiratory infection and the scripts for my lungs that were filled late before closing could not be picked up as they had to close yesterday. Naturally I'm upset. But thinking on it how can I be? They are human too, they get sick, tired and weary, and have families just like us. To the RiteAid corporation, do better by your employees. The wellbeing of the communities that you plant yourselves in depend on it.

I love this store. It feels like a family operation rather than a corporate run organization. The people have always been kind, helpful if I ask, non intrusive if I am browsing. They will check in the back for stock, let me know if and when a new shipment of something is coming in, and make me feel a part of the success of this business.

They have “misplaced” my prescription that was called in more times than I can remember. August 11th 2022 they closed at 5pm out of the blue and my prescription was called in but left on the counter, not filled. Now my entire medication schedule with the doctor is off track and I have to fill a day late every time because they like to hold it until the very last second. Pricing is always different because some of them don’t know about the coupons or lists of medications that get discounted. I have had to ask them a few times to get someone who knows about it to ring it up and make the price $36 instead of $67. You’ll never be able to pick up a day early if you work early or they close early you are SOL. They are close to home so I’ve put up with this for years. I will finally be changing pharmacies this month.

This is only as it relates to Covid testing. I received a covid test at this location 11 days ago and still have not received a call, email or any results. I called but was told they do not have access to that information so I tried customer support that directed me to something pertaining to California. I sure hope the test was negative...
