Anything but honest, Anything but!I am a third generation jeweler in the Dayton area. I’ve been repairing and designing jewelry in this area for over 30 years.I bought a laser welder for $5000 from this company.When I got it back to the shop the laser did not work he told me he would give me $2000 to fix it. After calling the manufacturer the parts were more than $3000. If that would fix it?He would only give me back $3000 and charge me a $2000 restocking fee.It’s like he stole $2000 from me if he would do this to another jeweler in the Dayton area think about what he would do to you, the public. HEAR MY WARNING. Don’t do business with them!Dayton Jeweler for more than 30 yearsYou cant tell me you didnt know it was defective! I dont believe anyone would buy a expensive piece of equipment without knowing it works first let alone sell a piece of equipment for $5000,00 and not make sure it worked first. I even asked if it worked and he said yes it powers up, and POWER UP IS ALL IT DID. He knew it didnt work. Thats why he said it powers up.Nobnody ever said it was AS-IS or I would of tested it out before I left with the equipment. Silly me, I thought you had honoror.NEVER TRUST THEM, NEVER!I will go out of my way to tell everyone I know, and I meet. How you did me wrong. EVERYONE!

We had the best experience getting my wedding band at Afman Jewelry! Wonderful customer service! Gabe is incredibly knowledgeable about the rings & helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Great experience, will definitely return!

I had been looking online and found a few pieces I wanted to get both my wife and daughter for Christmas. I went into the store and talked to the woman and started to describe the pieces to her and she stopped me in the middle of my sentence And said, "I need a number. I'm not looking through all 50 bins to try and find it for you". She was rude and not willing to make a sale for her company. I would expect a little more customer service from a place as highly reputable as this one. Even if I am in the wrong for not providing a SKU, I would of been happy to take out my phone and look for it if I had not been met with such an attitude and lack of patience.

Had a great experience here. Wish I would have found this place sooner. Repaired two pieces of jewelry quickly and for a great price. Will go back when I can spend more time in the store looking at their selection.

They were all nice and helpful. When the watch needed more than just a new battery, they called and gave me all info before proceeding. When it stopped working a few days later, I took it back for repair and they said it was just the way you have to set up a chronograph watch. They could easily have made up a reason to charge us more, but they just explained and gave me the watch back.

For our 50th anniversary I needed to have my wedding band enlarged. They found a jeweler willing to do the job. The adjustment was made and I am able to again wear my ring. They did a good job.

I walked into this beautiful store several months ago to sell a few random gold pieces I had, but was hiding an old European cut Diamond ring away from the others. When I asked Linda what she “thought” of it, “no intent to sell honestly”, She looked it over and offered me a great bit more than I was expecting. Very simple & smooth transaction!! I felt like I had made some friends in the process!I’ve gone in a few times here and there just to “pop in” and I’m always welcomed as if they’ve known me for 10 years! I feel respected. We make jokes and I LOVE that type of atmosphere. I don’t get that very often being 24 years old buying/selling jewelry and watches. I’m normally treated poorly and offered less than satisfactory service from other “establishments”.Went in again today with some pieces to move, and yet again was met with the same awesome service!! I get excited to go and see what new pieces they’ve got on display! There’s not many shops around with the incredible variety of items they have. I like to think I’m a “little” knowledgeable in the jewelry world and coming here makes me feel good about that.If I could rate this more than 5 Stars I would! Keep up the good work!

Staff is unknowledgeable and rude. I came in looking for miner cut diamonds. They showed me what they had, but none fit what I was looking for. I told the lady (I imagine she was the owner) that I was looking for a diamond in the O/P color range. "QRST?!" she replied, as if making fun of me. She tells me that she had never heard of that color in her "25 years of being a jeweler". I told her I had just seen a Q/R colored diamond myself in person recently and that she could look online to see that they do exist. Her response was "And you believe everything you see online?! Let me show you how diamonds are graded." She then pulls out a GIA pamphlet to teach me the color grade scale. I point out to her where an O/P colored diamond would fall on the scale and she was baffled. Any jeweler and diamond dealer that doesn't know the basics of the GIA grading system is someone to be weary of. I didn't even care that she didn't know, but her rude attitude left me with a really bad taste of this place. Never coming back here!

Very bad experience! They are not honest at all and would not trust them with my business.I liked a piece they have a agreed on price just like any other jewelry store . We agreed to bring them the money from the bank with the seller . Not even 10 minutes later after we brought them money to buy the merchandise, the owner showed up and told me no deal any more and that “ she sold it to somebody else”.Would never step in this store or do business with people without integrity like this. Shameful way to treat customer like thisUpdate: the owner answer is false. I did not get any discount but agreed to pay the FULL price as in the label. The seller actually called the owner and got a permission to sell.The owner better honor their word than keep trying to covered this up with untrue statements.I actually saw the merchandise still there but hidden from the customers. Obviously, the owner wanted to change their deal and sell it for a higher price .. Shameful !

Very bad experience and not trust worthy. We Agreed to buy an item and after 10 minutes I brought the money when the owner showed up and refused to honor the deal that was made already 10 minutes ago. This business needs to learn honestly 1st before they open to business. Reputation and integrity matter!

I took a brand new shell cordovan strap in to be put on a watch I inherited from my father. When I dropped it off the owner had the gall to ask me if it was a fake watch. When my watch was returned to me the strap had a very obvious and visible pen mark that was not there when I drop it offYou cannot get pen out of leather and the strap was destroyed before I even got to wear it. It was far from a cheap watch strap.
