Haven't had any issues besides a water leak and a freezing up ac unit. I reported the air conditioner and got it fixed the next day

Took a month to get a light bulb changed, trash around and not cleaned up, dog poop can full to the point of falling out and goes days before cleaned up. Don’t like that I’m stuck with the internet.

There are definitely some pros and cons about this apartment complex. I had the 1br Alta plan for the past year. One pro was that the apartment was very spacious. You’ll get a huge living room with enough space to have a big dining area. I even put my desk in the living room because there was so much room. Another pro is the location. My two stars reflect these pros.
Now, on to cons. First, my experience from day one was kind of tainted. I moved from out of state, picked an apartment blindly because I was unable to make another trip up here. I consulted with a leasing agent. I asked for pictures and she told me to watch the Facebook videos about my floor plan. After I paid the deposit, I never heard from her anymore. She did not discuss with me the water addendum where they rebill you for the water, so I was caught off guard my first month. Either way, when I moved in, what I saw online and on Facebook was not what I got. They barely cleaned, the unit was dark and gloomy due to an overgrowth of trees that they rarely trimmed back. The kitchen was not as updated as shown. It still was from the 70s minus the appliances. Not to mention the shoddy work in the bathroom. Anytime I scrubbed the tub, the caulking would come up. They also covered old tile, but didn’t buy enough of the new tub material to cover the old tile.
The office staff turned over so much. The girl who I consulted with when choosing the place had quit in the two months that were in between then and moving in. I’m sure this resulted in lack of communication I received from my move in process. The whole office staff was different by the time I moved. (1 year). I’d walk in and wouldn’t recognize a soul. They also typically had an aura of condescension in pretty much every interaction across the board, maintenance included.
Once, my air conditioning was having a tough week. Earlier that week, it was broken and they fixed it promptly. Later that week, it was struggling to keep up, and I thought that maybe them fixing it didn’t work. So, I called emergency maintenance. Instead of having an understanding attitude, the tech was condescending and assumed I wanted 60 degrees in my house, when I never implied that that was what I wanted.
Their amenities suck. The pool was barely open the summer I arrived. This year, it was open more and I explored. It was cool but the pool deck was so hard! It hurt my feet lol. I also noticed they never trimmed bushes or trees in the path and their landscaping lacked. No curb appeal.
Throughout my move out process, I heard absolutely nothing. I reached out via phone calls that weren’t picked up, messaging in the portal, and leaving a voice message. Communication was just not there.
Overall, I would consider other options.

The patio door is still not repaired as I was told. It is extremely difficult to open or close if being outside and attempting to go inside. The entrance to the apartment is more than just dirty and no amount of request has solved this short of asking for assistance from the city. Why not just complete what I was told and solve the situation ? Thankls.

The grounds in my area stays dirty. The steps needs to be painted. The front doors are horrible. Spider webs everywhere. The wood on the balconies and patios are old and rotten. The apartment complex are not lit up enough. The rail on the patio and balconies need to be painted and they are loose. The internet runs very slow and the cost is much too high. There's always problems with the internet. The plumbing system is horrible. The refrigerators and the stoves are no good. I have been needing maintenance things done in my apartment that haven't been done yet. That is not true the vertigo blinds are always breaking and falling off. The pool in my area is never open. And the main pool has no appeal to it and it stays dirty. I can't never seem to be able to get on and pay my rent online nor am I able to get on with the things that are going on in the community, my apartment number never shows up. And because of these things and many more our rent should never be raised

The place looked ok but I don’t think a two bedroom with a washer and dryer hook up in the master closet was great. I was very disappointed when I saw that and the colors in the bathroom were horrible and just looks cheaply made. The kitchen drawers were stained and looked horrible inside a lot of broken outlets. Not worth 1,359.00 if it’s this much I expected it to look nicer than it did, the lady that helped us was nice it’s not a nice place to live in.

Staff has been difficult to work with, unwilling to help find solutions, and leasing agreement differs from the information provided when speaking with the employees.
The apartment itself was also incredibly dirty, bugs everywhere upon move in, poor repair work, and over all quality does not match what is advertised.
Attempted to work on solutions- but was told that things are the way they are. No willingness to converse on issues.

I visited the Villager a few days ago to find an apartment. Disappointed! I was quoted a rate on the phone, but when I got there the rate magically went up! The reason I was given: During the Summer the rate increases because no one likes to move in the winter. Wow! This isn't a hotel. Your not vacationing with a choice. Your trying to find a place to live regardless of the season. The Villager is reprimanding you because you need a place to live. Many people don't have the luxury to move when they want. They move because their previous lease is up, they have moved here or they are venturing out for the first time.
So increasing the rate due to the season is ludicrous!

Evan needs a RAISE this man is doing so much and he does a great job!!!
Also, great apartments and I’m so happy I moved here. Very spacious, safe and quiet and a lot of nature surrounding the building. I put in one maintenance request and they came within an hour or two. Highly recommend!
