I have two incidents that I have experienced at this location. The first incident was I asked an employee what equipment would be best to use for a project that I am doing to get home this recommended equipment made the job tedious. I understand that businesses are short-staffed but it would be nice if the employee isn’t certain what tasks the types of equipment does it would be nice if they would ask a coworker or just say they aren’t sure. Everything is too high to be wasting my money on something I couldn’t use.The second incident occurred when I asked to rent a sod machine. The employee Jeff asked me what was I using the machine for. I explained to him what I was using the sod machine for. I didn’t think anything of it. Jeff says you should use the tiller. I informed Jeff that I didn’t want the tiller that I had already wasted my money and time purchasing the tiller the previous day and that the tiller wasn’t successful at all. Afterward, Jeff began to come off rude and ignorant. It was like he tried everything he could to prevent me from making my purchase. Eventually, it seemed he was acting the way he was intentional. At that very moment, I wanted to get what I needed and get out there because I didn’t want this man to say another word to me. He comes off as someone who causes or creates problems for others. It just doesn’t make any sense how this man was acting towards me. I feel sorry for any employees that are stuck working with this toxic man. I would call off every time I knew I was stuck working with him without a supervisor present. This is the one right here when I asked for his name he started being helpful and talking like he had some sense. He knew that he wasn’t right. Then, he asks me are you okay? Here is your answer Jeff you have the right one and you can take it however you like. I will be calling the supervisor this week and if I don’t receive a call I will contact headquarters.

My overall experience with Home Depot is extremely poor. I've ordered thousands of dollars worth of product through Home Depot, with the majority of purchases being appliances and have experienced issues with almost all orders. My first issue stemmed from a major appliance order for my kitchen. over 5g worth of product. Without getting into much detail, the delivery services was out of this world unprofessional and I would like to credit the Springfield, Oh location for bringing this to their attention and addressing the issue the very first call I made. They credited some of my purchase and apologized more than once for the service we were provided. The experience I had with them addressing the issues and making things as right as they could, are why my family and I tried giving Home Depot another chance. Within the past month, I have made my final purchase with Home Depot. My husband and I came into the Centerville, Oh store to purchase a stackable washer and dryer. The service we were provided was wonderful. The customer service representative assisted us and guided us through the whole process. She assured us that this experience would be better and that if there was any issues, not to hesitate to reach out. Upon delivery, the washing machine we received was incorrect. We had 48hours to call and address the issue- and so we did same day. we spoke to another customer service rep via the order center and they apologized for the inconvenience. He stated that the new and correct washing machine would be replaced the following week. that we could utilize the one delivered upon receiving the correct product. He worked with the manufacturer himself to make the correction. Upon the 2nd delivery- we received the in correct product, AGAIN. we were advised to call the same line- AGAIN. I spoke with a very friendly rep and she advised me to speak with the manufacturer to address the issues. I had no issues with this. After speaking with the manufacturer, they advised this was an issue on Home Depot's site. That the item was listed having specifications it indeed, does not. She approved the return and directed me BACK to Home Depot for them to the provide me the correct product. she advised there was NO price difference in the correct product vs one we received. she also provided the CORRECT item # of What Home Depot should have ordered. This is where my frustration grows- I'd like to think I'm a very patient person however, after playing phone tag for 2 hours, no one wanted to take accountability for me receiving the wrong product. instead- taking time out of my day to make endless calls to get no where. ALL I WANT IS WHAT I WAS TOLD I WAS ORDERING- By the customer rep at the ordering location as well as the Home Depot SITE. After multiple calls to the customer service line, I was directed to go through the store I purchased from. i did just that. I've spoken with an assistant manager, who advised I speak with someone else who handles situations like these. I was told today that my options are as followed- I can return the wrong washer received and have no working washing machine until they're able to POSSIBLY deliver the correct item. OR They can recharge my Home Depot credit card for a new (possibly correct) washer and I can be charged for 2 in total until the wrong washer is received back (after corrected delivery #3) , and then they will credit my account once they receive the incorrect one. DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE A PROBLEM WITH THIS???? I have received no accountability from Home Depot for the incorrect advertisement. No accountability for the wrong washer being ordered. AND to top it off, I can max out my credit card for the time being, while also creating issues with the promotional offer we used, OR be stuck without a washing machine. This sounds to me like Home Depot is putting this incorrect order back on their customer and making it a customer problem. I asked to please speak to the Manager of the store and was told he was on lunch and could return my call when he arrived back. NO call. I a

Over $4 a gallon gas and I drove all the way across town to rent a machine, that I had called prior to coming and they had, but couldn't rent me because nobody was smart enough to know where the keys were. Wasted 45 minutes of my morning for nothing. Guy just had the stupid, sorry about that bub, look on his face. Absolutely ridiculous.

Bought new Samsung dishwasher and the second crew from Home Depot was able to install it, but they installed it crooked, which was not good to see, but not expected to cause performance issues. Wrong, the cabinet seal is getting crushed and sliced and the finish is now wore off the lower part of the door. Samsung says it's Home Depot's problem and Home Depot says it's too late for any action from them. Since the installers couldn't get it straight, they suggested I remove the screws and try to straighten it myself, so why did I pay them? Even bought the after warranty protection contract, but no help there either and it's not even a year old! Shameful way to do business!

I purchased a new Samsung washer and dryer on 7/25/21 and also paid for the removal and haul away. My order was delivered on time but the two delivery drivers refused to take my old washer and dryer because they said " We don't have room on the truck to take them" Are you serious? That has be one of the worst excuses I’ve ever heard. If you have my new washer and dryer on your truck and take them off, you’d clearly have room for my old washer and dryer on that truck! They sai

WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS. I tried to make a return because the product I received was damaged, and so far I've had to go back twice because of problems with the return and reorder process. The same worker "helped" me both times, and on both occasions she took off her mask while helping me for an extended period of time. I felt unsafe and disrespected. There was also another worker restocking who wasn't wearing a mask. Yet another worker by the paint counter took off his mask, too. If you're keeping track of the count, that's three specific cases of workers within just my eyesight of the return counter that weren't wearing masks. Numerous other workers at checkout and customers walking the aisles weren't wearing masks properly or at all. Obviously the management is poor, or else more workers would be wearing masks at all times and ask shoppers to leave or put on a mask when seeing them without one. Not to mention, upon my second visit for the return and reorder situation, the worker who helped me tried to give me a product that wasn't correctly packaged, and appeared to be the same as the one I returned (the dents in the box where the same). Steps should be taken for the location to be safe, respectful of its customers, and efficient with the return and reorder process.

The customers were not wearing any mask. The employees were, you make up your own mind. I don’t want to go places that don’t require a mask right now. Safety for others is more of a concern right now than my own comfort for a short amount of time.

Had an interesting experience today at The Home Depot. When checking out the cashier asked if I was military, to which I replied “No, but I’m a teacher if there are any discounts for that,” as many places have been offering teachers the same discounts as military and first responders in the wake of COVID-19.
