One ATM at multiple times and occurrences with a line of cars at what has seemingly become a Tipworkers Credit Union with all of the long personal banking going on at the ATM. Nobody that just needs cash can do anything but wait for all these people parked there playing arcade at the ATM.

I highly recommend not doing business with wright patt ( especially this cross point location ), based on a crazy experience I just had with them.I have a vehicle loan through them, it’s always been set up on auto payments via my checking account ( thru chase ). So I’ve never had any reason to actually conduct transactions with them.Which is why I was surprised a few days ago to get a notification that my “new checking account” with them had been opened, along with an email survey asking about how my experience was when I deposited $300 into the new account.Long story short , someone with a similar name opened a checking with them, and the teller who processed the transaction never once verified the man’s DOB or SSN, instead she added him onto my personal account, and then initiated a change of address ( from mine to his ).So essentially a stranger was given a checking account under MY name, then they added his address and phone number on as well.I understand it was a mistake on the bank employees part, but this is a massive error that’s easily avoided by employees doing at least the bare minimum and asking for IDs and DOBs. I drove almost an hour from my house to this location to address the issue and speak with management. Before I discovered what had actually happened I was worried that a bank employee here was intentionally committing fraud with my account.Honestly I feel bad posting this review, because once I met with management and had the issue uncovered and resolved , she was very professional and helpful. But at the same time, incidents like this are what reviews are for. People need to be aware that this particular bank maybe doesn’t do the best job at training new employees or follow simple procedures like they should.

I’ve been coming to WPCU for 20 year and teller Heidi is condescending to the point of unprofessional. On one visit she actually said she was comparing the signatures of my prior cashed checks to the one I was cashing. Today, she took my check and said, “So what are we doing today?” I said, “Cashing a check.” She actually responded with, “Was I supposed to know that?” I’m not sure what’s happening at this branch but I have loved this credit union for so long. I’m shocked this is the standard for tellers. If I could get larger denominations at Springboro, I’d go there. So sad and disappointing. (And not reflective of the customer service folks at all!)

My grandson is moving from Spring Valley to Texas & I was going to give him money for traveling but I forgot my checkbook at home. I stopped by Wright-Patt on Alex-Bell in Centerville to ask if they had gift cards. Heidi, the teller I was so fortunate to get, solved my problem quick & easy & I was impressed & very happy. Heidi has a great smile and attitude.

This bank profiles anybody that walks in. If you have a check to cash and you dont have a account open through them, if you dont look like you own a fancy bmw and wear some nice clothes theyll refuse to cash a check for you. Going to be posting a video on youtube of them profiling multiple people and refusing to cash checks. Very lazy and rude staff, will be spreading the word!

Out of the 3 credit unions that I deal with regularly, Wright Patt credit union is by far the worst. Especially throughout Covid-19. And as things start to open up again they decide to close early and not let you take out more than 2,000 dollars each day. This is out of my bank account with my money in it. Other banks have had restrictions on things but Wright Patt credit Union is the strictest and have made life for probably many harder to deal with day to day. I wouldn’t even try getting a loan through them. If you think you’re getting a good deal through them you might want Check with another place. You obviously haven’t because they’re the worst at loans or if not the worst really really bad. Like Day Air credit Union or KH credit union. I have been a member there for 12 years and when it came time to get a loan I figured with my decent credit score and being a member for so long they would take care of me. I was wrong. They counter offered for less money than I needed and offered a 16.4% interest rate. I checked somewhere else and they gave me the full amount that I needed at a 4.1% interest-rate. Ridiculous. Nice staff for the most part but try and do anything more than have them hold your money to pay bills with would be a mistake.

Always the slowest bank, long before Covid 19. Dont come here unless prepared to wait at least 30 minutes.

Thanks a ton for restricting my debit/atm card and not telling me. Always awesome to find out I have no access to my money at the atm when I needed it.
