Excellent personalized service. Very delicate in handling details, good communication, and their attention to everything including their caring staff made my Mother's passing a little less traumatic and complicated. Losing my Mom is the worst experience I've ever been through, and Ross Jr, Patty, Maggie, Michelle, John, and other wonderful staff made it easier and eve beautiful. DeJohn did a beautiful job with my mom's funeral. The visitation was perfect and mom looked lovely. They ensured that everything went smoothly at church and the cemetery. They offer a wide variety of options. They were patient while we chose what we wanted and no one ever tried to sell us more than what we needed. Thanks to Ross, Wendy and the rest of the compassionate and friendly team. I highly recommend DeJohn in your time of need.

I liked to thank Jennifer for her great care and concern for me while I was grieving the passing of my beloved pet Lola. I liked the different options offered to memorialize my pet and the atmosphere of the office was comforting. The service provided was excellent. Jennifer's compassion and understanding and words of encouragement really helped me through this difficult process. I highly recommend her services. Jennifer is a gift and a godsend.

My family recently worked with DeJohn Funeral Homes following the passing of my dad. Even though he had already planned much of the funeral, we still had several items to plan and the staff at DeJohn made sure the process was smooth and easy.

Funeral Director here. When we had a death in the Cleveland/Akron area, we reached out to Ross and his team for help. Not only did they go above and beyond with excellent embalming care, all our needs were looked after in expedient and professional fashion.
It’s always a risk having another funeral home represent you in another area, but sometimes it doesn’t just work out but goes very smoothly. We’ll definitely call Ross and his team for help in the future. Kudos!

I highly recommend DeJohn Funeral Home to handle all aspects of a loved one's death. My mother passed away in California but had to be laid to rest in Cleveland. From the moment that I contacted Ross - 10 minutes after my mom died, through the preparations in California, the transportation back to Cleveland and all of the visitation, service, burial and reception details, he and his team were on top of everything and made the very difficult process less stressful and painful for our family. Once we arrived in Cleveland, we checked in with Ross's team and found everything ready - even all of the little details like making sure that there were no lily flowers in the arrangements (our immediate family members are allergic to lilies). The funeral home was beautiful and modern. Mom was beautifully presented. The in-house florist did an amazing job of following our directions - to create a simple but elegant environment - exactly what mom wanted. From the moment that friends and family started to arrive - through the visitation and service, Ross and his team were behind the scenes handling everything. And they worked well with the cemetery to insure that the mausoleum was prepared and set up for the final grave-side service. Finally, the food from the restaurant next door for the post-burial reception was excellent. It made me realize how much I miss authentic Italian food now that I live in California. The last thing that I'll mention is that the price quote that Ross provided to our family before the funeral was completely accurate. There were no surprises or add-ons. We paid exactly what he quoted and what we approved. I can't recommend DeJohn Funeral Homes more highly. And I will ever remain grateful for all of their support and assistance during such a difficult time.

I highly recommend Constance as a funeral director. We had an easy and smooth experience with her and DeJohn for the arrangements for my elderly mother. Did some pre planning when she entered hospice care, and then her final arrangements were handled efficiently and with sensitivity. At no time did we feel pressured, no up-selling at all (as I had experienced previously elsewhere) pricing was transparent and fair. I felt very taken care of throughout the process. I would not hesitate to use Constance again for future funeral needs.

My mother recently passed away very unexpectedly, and my family and I were overwhelmed with shock and grief. Another family member referred us to DeJohn Funeral Homes and I am so thankful that they did. From the first moment I called them and every step along the way, my family and I were treated with such care and compassion. Everyone at DeJohn was wonderful and they really went out of their way for us. Constance was exceptionally professional, sympathetic, and caring. She worked closely with us and expertly guided us through this process at such a painful time. My family and I were very happy with the care and attention to detail in preparing my mother for her final journey. I'm truly grateful she was in their respectful hands. She looked peaceful, beautiful, and very much like herself. Everyone commented on how lovely the room was and that everything went so smoothly. They thought of everything. I would highly recommend this establishment for its staff and how comforting they were to us. They were organized for the very large service we had and they did everything you would expect and hope for from a funeral home. I am forever grateful for the care they showed my mother and our family.

I have used DeJohn Funeral Home 3 times in this past year and found them very compassionate, caring, kind and empathetic. They are very willing to work with the family for the kind of funeral or service that they want or need. This was important to me as I wanted a traditional funeral for my husband, a military presence for my veteran brother, and a short service for my sister who needed to be flown to NY to be buried. They took complete care of all the arrangements, time spans, plane tickets and arrangements in NY. The respect for my family was constant, and I knew my loved ones were in good and caring hands. I will be forever grateful to them!

So when I first started looking for a funeral service I thought to myself that not enough of these places have reviews, which at the end of the day really helps us decide who we want to go with especially with moments like these. My father passed away very suddenly this past December and saying that it absolutely rocked our family is even an understatement. I'm young so this was basically my first very personal funeral and I now had to plan everything. I don't think I'll ever be able to put into words how much the people at DeJohns made everything so much easier for me and my family. They were an absolute blessing in this very dark time. They were kind, compassionate, patient, and understanding. I worked with Constance a lot and never at any point did she not try to make time for me and really help me through all of this. When the day finally came everything was absolutely as perfect as it could have been in that situation. I hope this review helps anyone who is struggling with the decision, I can't recommend this place enough, all of the staff was so amazing and they forever have all of my thanks for everything they did for me and my family. I can't thank Ross DeJohn lll for all his kindness & assistance in handling my mom's remains. His entire staff were just as kind & professional from writing up her obituary & placing it in an out of state newspaper to even dropping off my mom's ashes at our house.DeJohn was certainly the right place to go at a time where there's sadness & uncertainty. They handled all the details that you don't want to think about at time where decisions need to be made.Thank you all again from me & my dad.
