About Geauga County Dog Warden
The Geauga County Dog Warden is a shelter where many have successfully adopted dogs that become great, gentle, and affectionate additions to their families. The staff is described as amazing, wonderful, helpful, kind, professional, friendly, caring, and relaxed. The shelter operates on a first-come, first-served basis. They take amazing care of the dogs, providing all vaccines, covering costs for getting the dogs fixed, and including food, treats, toys, and blankets in the adoption fee. The dogs are given plenty of meet and greet time before adoption. Individuals have also reported positive experiences when needing help with a stray dog, with off-duty staff graciously assisting. The facility can be extremely busy, and adoptions sometimes happen very quickly. Many express gratitude for the staff's work in helping dogs find forever homes.
