very weird experience my boyfriend just had in this home depot. he was trying to make a simple return. an employee with long, dark hair asked him “how can i help you?”. my boyfriend responded with “hi i need to make a return”. the employee then proceeded to say “no you don’t” in a joking manner ? not funny in my opinion but okay lol ?? then my boyfriend said “yes i do?” and the employee said “do you have a receipt?”. my boyfriend said yes and handed him the receipt like a normal person, only for this guy to say “i’m gaslighting you! that’s not a receipt! it’s just a piece of paper!” …..very weird and unprofessional behavior lol. i wonder if this guy speaks to all customers like this ? it’s just not funny and a huge, weird waste of time.

Best thing to do at any home depot is know exactly where to look for what you're after. Search your store, check in stock availability for aisle and bay. Help can be thin sometimes

After buying many products from Home Depot Chardon, I bought an expensive lawnmower. When the mower was dropped off, the wrong key came with it to my disappointment. I had to drive all the way back there to receive the proper key and I was met with un remorseful employees. No one who worked there tried to make it right that my mower was sent with the wrong key. I expected to be accommodated and was not.

My husband was able to quickly find the items he needed, and an associate was willing to help him find the tools he needed and did so quickly. This saved my husband from becoming very frustrated ( and me from having to hear about it)

C'mon, it's a Home Depot. Because it's in Chardon it's less busy and he tic than many other locations.

I'll start off with the good. Thank you to the lady who actually checked me out! The First Lady I was walking towards to ring me out logged out of her computer until I walked by and then logged back in to start ringing out people behind me!!! I also had TWO employees walk out in front of me as I had my arms full of lights and they blocked my path the entire way back to my cart as they watched me struggle and didn't even offer to help!!! They are lucky as hell I didn't leave my cart full of $2,700 worth of electrical material right in the middle of the store!!!! Next time I will be going to Menards

The staff in the Chardon store are so nice and helpful. I mistakenly ordered an unassembled grill. Tried to do it myself. No way! Called the store and was told to bring it back, and they assembled it for free. Called me to come get it and loaded it in my car.
I ordered an exterior door, and it was delivered the same day.
Fair prices. Good service. It's my go to store for my projects.
