With the current surge in Coronavirus cases nationwide, its really disappointing to see that at least a third of the employees at my local Home Depot are wearing their masks below their noses. There were also a large number of customers roaming about the store without masks, and no employees had a word to say to them. I am a medical professional, and a person who is high risk due to my age. I don't feel safe shopping at Home Depot in Chardon, and will be forced to go elsewhere from now on. I recommend that anyone who has the sense to be cautious about spreading this virus boycott home Depot.

As a Contractor I am completely frustrated and appalled how laxed your store's are in terms letting the general public wander around aimlessly most not observing distancing rules and not wearing masks & gloves ; the rule in Ohio is businesses are open for ESSENTIAL PURCHASES ONLY ; this means Contractors like myself and people who actually need something for an EMERGENCY REPAIR ; this is not the time for people to be leisurely shopping ; it should be on-line purchases ONLY with curb side pick up for the public and only Contractors with commercial accounts should be allowed inside the store ; also ALL of your employee's should be wearing masks & gloves

Worst customer service ever! Constantly getting the run around and never called us when our order was in- after we got the order which was damaged, and we needed to order another one- they failed to call us and when we kept calling them to see if it was in it was a constant battle trying to speak to someone.

Went to Chardon Home Depot today for 50 bags of mulch. Was the only truck outside waiting, no one else in line. Waited 15 minutes, then went back in and asked for assistance. Was told there would be someone “ eventuallyâ€. Waited again. Went back in and looked for someone in an orange vest. Just happened to be a supervisor. She told me everyone was busy and I would just have to wait my turn. ( In a very nasty, curt tone) I indicated There were 4 workers in home and garden watc

It's Home Depot, do we really need to write anything? If you haven't been to a Home Depot you must live a sheltered life.

Serving overseas in a war zone such as Afghanistan (where I was deployed) NO LONGER QUALIFIES YOU FOR A MILITARY DISCOUNT according to this Home Depot that I went to. Nope, I handed my Veteran ID to the lady at the register and she told me, in a very straight forward and non sympathetic manner, "Sorry yours doesn't say Purple Heart or Disabled, you don't qualify for the discount, the company recently changed the policy." All I have to say to that is, ARE YOU F****** KIDDING ME?! Whatever dumbasses up the chain at Home Depot that made the decision to make that change to their policy should go f****** hang themselves. I understand a lot of places don't even offer military discounts and that's fine, that's their choice. But for a company that boasts its support for the military and brags about its discounts, I thinks its pretty insulting to limit what Veterans get the discount. I'm sorry I didn't step on a IED while I was in Afghanistan and become disabled and I'm sorry I got lucky and didn't get hit by any flying bullets or by any shrapnel from bombs that went off in my vicinity while your sorry a** sat behind a f****** desk and made the decision to limit deserving Veterans. You either offer a discount to all Veterans or don't offer it at all you inconsiderate fucks! After the insult I had to endure and me having to hold my mouth shut at the counter because I understood it wasn't the ladies fault, I promise to never step foot in another f****** Home Depot in my entire life as long as they uphold this policy. And I promise to encourage others to boycott Home Depot as well. You all should f****** be ashamed of yourselves. Anyone reading this, that is a Veteran, go to Lowe's, I went there immediately afterwards and wouldn't you know, they don't discriminate Veterans! And they even had parking spots designated for Veterans! So to all my fellow Veterans if you want to go to a supply store that will give you the respect that you deserve for your service to this country go to Lowe's! According to Home Depot's new policy, even if you served in a war zone and risked your life for this country but you were lucky enough to not suffer any indifferences, your service means f****** nothing to them. ABSOLUTELY F****** NOTHING.

I could not find anyone to help me at Home Depot in Chardon, Ohio. After waiting awhile I went up front where 2 employees were chatting. I asked for help with tile and was told they would send someone. Waited some more then approached a lady in kitchen area who was very obviously visiting with another lady and had been for quite some time. I said ‘excuse me, can I have someone help me in tile aisle?' She rudely told me ‘that would be me but you have to wait till I'm done ‘ I left, bought my tile elsewhere. Terrible customer service.

They couldn't load a 16ft trailer with 900 6ft dog ear fence slats because the guys were to lazy to turn them long ways. Worst store I ever been to and will never go back. Terrible place.

Use to love the service here but unfortunately the staff has taken a nose dive And customer service is terrible. They might know what isle something is in but behind that they are totally clueless! That's if they even offer to help you! I ask if someone could help me load lumber and I was told that person was busy and it would be awhile. Apparently they can't spare anyone in any other department for 5 mins. Especially when you have a crew waiting on you to get back! Thanks for nothing

Everyone there HELPED me when i needed help. They never acted like they had other things to do, or that I was bothering them. I left with a smile on my face knowing that the project I was about to undertake was going to get done this afternoon because of all the assistance they gave me in locating items and cutting a bunch of things for me. After yesterday's visit I would give them 10 stars!

I can honestly say I never have had tei uble getting help until yesterday. My husband and i needed a caper runner cut. I ask Tony and he directed me to Elizabeth and Dawn. We came around the corner and found FOUR workers standing by tile. We asked for help. They directed us to Elizabeth and Dawn and then were GONE. Well we waited for the girls but they were busy with other customers. Not those other FOUR! They disappeared. So we wandered back to the delivery dock and sure enough, there was Tony! Let me tell you, this was not his department but he came over and did his best and we left happy. Elizabeth came and found us mid cut and apologized which I found nice. Thank you for turning a sour visit into a happy one!
