Laundry near Chardon, OH

“In response to a comment left earlier tonight, the smoke smell was due to materials that I was washing and in no way the fault of the facility. I apologize for that, but I challenge your assertion that your laundry may have picked up that smell-as no one used those washers after I did.

As a regular user of this laundromat, I find that it is well run and clean, that the machines work well, and Louie and his humans that own the place are quite friendly.

A laundromat is an important facility in a community, and I find that ours in Chardon is well run. I appreciate having it.”

“We tried this laundromat and was pleasantly surprised! The laundromat is off Clairmont in Painesville...a little off the beaten track. I counted 26 Washers, 2 was out of order. There is 30 Dryers with 2 out of order as of our last visit. This laundromat has air conditioning on the Hot ? days! There is 1 Bill changer and 2 quarter machines. There was an attendant on duty to make change and fix machines. She was frequently seen cleaning! A brief electrical issue caused the power to go out on a previous visit while we were there. Our machines restarted when the power came back on without a problem! There are snack and beverage vending machines as well as a machine for laundry products. I didn't notice any All free and clear products but there were several empty slots. Separate Restrooms for Men and Women and they were reasonably clean. Why don't they mark both restrooms with Generic ? signage so either gender could use either one? When they have one out of order they put up a paper sign to use the other one anyway! I have been told quarters get 6 minutes on the dryers. I was able to get prices for the different washing machines on this trip. Maytag $2.50 (both out of order), Primus $3.25, 30# $4.50, 50# $5.75, 60# $7.50, 80# $9. My wife said she would not be afraid to use this location again. I noted several security cameras amongst the more modern machines and decor. I would say If you're looking for a laundromat this is probably the nicest one we have found in Painesville yet.Just North of State Route 20 on Clairmont, definitely ? in our book! ?”

“It was my first time here and the Reviews had me nervous of a disgruntled employee but when I went in she was super nice and helpful to me. Machines are WAY cheaper than the one i usually go to, and do just as good a job! No complaints here other than it being small. Will definitely be back.”

“Thank you to the patrons and 1 staff for saving my life on Monday 8/11/2024. I was having a positional Vertigo event. Difficulty loading a clean basket of clothes, that dropped and fell in the parking lot, owner saw me and walked right past me. Went to the ladies room to get a cool rag for my neck. Passed out and cracked my head open on the concrete floor, bleeding .Thanking anyone who called 911 for help. The lady working there, finished folding my last load and gave to hubby when he finnaly arrived. Such humility to be found unconscious in a dirty public restroom. Again many thanks to anyone who tried to help me”

“First time taking suits to this place to have dry cleaned they were very friendly. Brought it in Wed morning got it back later that day. Quick service! Wish I would have came here to have my wedding dress cleaned it was a nightmare at Jade cleaners in Mentor still have stains and paid a lot i was so sad they had assured me they could get them out. I have been to a few not so friendly dry cleaners we live in Geneva and don't have a problem driving that far for good service. They looked very nice! We will be coming back for sure. Thanks?”
