In response to a comment left earlier tonight, the smoke smell was due to materials that I was washing and in no way the fault of the facility. I apologize for that, but I challenge your assertion that your laundry may have picked up that smell-as no one used those washers after I did.
As a regular user of this laundromat, I find that it is well run and clean, that the machines work well, and Louie and his humans that own the place are quite friendly.
A laundromat is an important facility in a community, and I find that ours in Chardon is well run. I appreciate having it.

Half of the washers stink or the building itself does. Most of the time there is left over soap inside of the washers
You’ll put a handful of quarters inside the dryer then all of a sudden it won’t work anymore. You will put “extra rinse” or “extra wash” and you clothes will still come out smelling dirty.
Overpriced machines, soap/dryer sheets not even worth it. Hit or miss weather the quarter machine works or not
Place has really gone down hill since it changed owners. I think it’s time to do my laundry elsewhere

Dryers are pathetic. An hour in the dryer on high doesn't even dry six shirts. Thats when the dryers are even working.

A couple times a year, I take my comforter to Louie’s to get it washed. With my busy schedule, I decided to try out the wash and fold drop off service offered. It was so easy to do, I just dropped off my comforter and within 48 hours it was done and looked and smelled great! I would highly recommend this service!

This was the first time that I was there. Or had to use a laundromat. I went there because of the reviews. I thought that the place was very clean. The prices were reasonable and the other patrons were very nice.

This is the nicest place I’ve ever been. Flat parking close to door, you can roll the cart right out to your car. Clean, well lit, and staffed. Patrons were friendly and helpful. And there’s a dog! Minor issue, tv was on newsmax, at least volume wasn’t on.

I used the drop-off service for the first time this week. It was a great experience. Paul went above and beyond what was necessary. I did not expect my socks to be paired. But he paired every pair of socks I had. All my clothes were exceptionally clean and everything was folded. I have used Louis Laundromat for years and will continue to do so.

Really good laundromat, if not best for the area. Kept clean, prices competitive, machines work well and fast. Surprised to see that, considering the best trait is that this is a 24/7/365 laundromat. I really respect that the owners trust to pay for overnight operations - it’s so convenient and concerning to those of us who are third shift workers. I tested the negative reviews as this was my first time using this establishment, and the dryers work very well in my opinion. Washers are quick at 15-20 minutes because they’re Johnny on the Spot! No lag time like my Samsungs at home. Would definitely recommend. Might just go here instead of home.. Thank you so much

It's called Lake Effect laundromat. When you need to wash clothes it's a good place to go, but very disappointed in the machines not the washers but the dryers. Most of the dryer said clean Lent and on those dryers I'm assuming to let holder is in the back so this is something that the owner should be doing. It took over $10 to get my blankets dry and I called the phone number on the flashing sign and told him my requested refund. And I'm in out of town person and I will admit that you have some people there that hog all the machines and they don't care if they have two pieces in there. They need to be more respectful the owner needs to keep his machines fine tuned and if somebody has a problem he needs to refund their money.
