It went smoothly except for the gasoline discrepancy. The tank was exactly on F when we got it. When we filled it back up to return it, it was way past F. I was too busy with the move to think to take a photo so no I didn't call to complain. It's hard to say how much gas I was hoodwinked out of but uhaul was $70 more expensive than our Penske rental 2 days later (same size truck). I will not use uhaul again. As for the gasoline difference, maybe it was an accident, maybe it was on purpose. I figure they know their trucks and I feel cheated.

We had issues with our apartment complex and they went out of their way to help us out with keeping the uhaul an extra day. Absolutely amazing service

I rented a truck for a Sunday. Kaitlyn told me that she closed at 11:30 AM but if I went online in advance and checked in all I had to do was arrive at her property and get a code. That was actually not the case. You have to arrive at the property and the GPS tells u-haul through the app that you’re at the right location and then you have to verify while they’re in order to get the code. That process took about 20 minutes sitting in the parking lot. Meanwhile my helpers were at the location where I was moving my stuff waiting for me. When I finally finished the verification process there was a disc lock on the back of the truck’s door that was not at all intuitive. I was on the phone with customer service from U-Haul for another 15 minutes trying to figure out how to open up the lock. They transferred me to another department and the guy on the phone tried to explain to me how to use the lock and it just was not opening. Finally they called Kaitlyn at home who came over in a huff storming across the parking lot didn’t even say hello. She pulled the lock off the truck really quickly. When I walked over to her I said, “wow how did you open that I’ve been standing out here for an hour!” Then she launched in the most snippy b*tchy tone I’ve ever experienced in my life from a business owner sounding like an angry 15-year-old talking back to her parents. This shrimpy a little girl with the fake eyelashes batting was telling me off saying things like “ everybody opens the lock just fine “as if I was an idiot, and then said in the most obstinate way, “we’re closed and I’m doing you a FAVOR!“While I do appreciate her leaving her house to come back to the property to help me out the tone in which she spoke to me was completely ludicrous. I said, “wow, surprised you didn’t say you were sorry that I’ve been standing out here for an hour and you were exhibiting absolutely no empathy for my experience as a customer.“ She didn’t seem to care at all she was completely indignant. With Kaitlyn didn’t know is that I was a commercial property owner for eight years and I had HUNDREDS of customers opening up a lock box to get into my building all the time when I wasn’t there. These were dear clients of mine and I grew my business completely by word-of-mouth. There are many instances in which very educated, smart fathers were standing outside my building getting very frustrated over not being able to open up the lock box. I have walked hundreds of clients through opening up a lock box over the phone and I’ve gotten out of bed at 11 or 12 o’clock at night to go over to the building (which was 15 minutes from my house) to help them get in. I apologize profusely for the inconvenience and if the customer experienced anything bad at my building I always comped them free space. I was extremely fair and would never have dreamed of talking smack face-to-face to my valued clients. The disrespect that Kaitlyn exhibited was completely off the charts - she looked like a child and acted like a child. I do not recommend doing business with her at all it was completely ridiculous. If you need another U-Haul go someplace else. She should’ve known the protocol for going through verification process ON site versus doing it before hand. And IF one of her clients IS standing out in the 30° weather for an hour fussing around with a lock on the back of the door it’s her responsibility to make sure the customer has a good experience. I was completely and utterly appalled. This should not be a reflection on U haul the company who did an amazing job on the phone and I am very very impressed with their helpfulness, patience and commitment to closing out my issue

Paul (owner) was awesome! Helped me with all experience. He helped me with the U-Haul payment, hooking up the tow dolly trailer, inspecting the truck and pulling it around with the trailer for me, was politely and fast. Couldn’t recommend a better spot!

The office woman was great, the condition of the uhaul was a disaster. The truck exhaust was broken , the fuel gauge was broken , the check engine light came on during the use of the truck and when I turned the truck rental in there shop mechanic said the cylinder head was bad and the truck should not have been given to me to rent.
