Mooreland Mansion is super welcoming and sets a really cool ambiance for every wedding we have had the pleasure of photographing there.

From a photographic point-of-view, there are very few things anyone could ask for that aren’t already there: Historic architecture, open fields surrounded by soft shade, and a ton of space to work within.

Having worked on their grounds many times over the years, I can’t say enough good things about Mooreland Mansion.

But Michelle called my husband right back and said she realized she didn’t ask him the time. So we were able to book for our Vow renewal on our 12th year wedding anniversary. This was so special to me. We were allowed to use a cabin to get ready! Michelle keep checking on us and was attentive to our guests. 🚆 I traveled on Amtrak from Los Angeles for 3 nights and I arrived at 6:30am (way too early for check in on a Sunday morning with a full hotel checking out); however, Tess at the Front Desk made sure that I was quickly assigned a very comfortable and clean guest room as she sensed that I truly needed to rest. Tess extended professional kindness and personal compassion to me in the midst of her multi-tasking and she recommended that I enjoy a full complimentary breakfast with very nutritional choices in the hotel community dining room! Truly, I appreciated the caring welcome home to Cleveland (retired Regina High School Teacher) after 3 years volunteering in the SouthWest with our refugees and our homeless community. The entire staff was very attentive, friendly and exuded positive energy in their workspace and I appreciate their outstanding commitment to cleanliness and hospitality. May God continue to bless Staybridge Suites with appreciative guests and professional employees!💫”

“This was my first time playing Tanglewood. The course has a driving range where you just pay at the machine, and the range balls were reasonably priced. Although I had a tough time scoring, I enjoyed the layout and challenges.

Here are some notable holes I loved:

Hole #2, Par 5: This is a neat hole. You tee off on a slight hill, looking straight towards the hole.
Hole #8: I enjoyed the elevated tee box here, where you’re greeted by Tanglewood Lake as you approach the green. It’s a beautiful sight for golfers (unless you’re in the lake).
Hole #9, Par 4: This hole has a dog-leg right and is unique because you have to be cautious with your tee shot.
Hole #10, Par 5: Another slightly elevated tee box greets you with a lake view, but it’s all driver from here, and the view is beautiful.
Hole #15: This hole has two water hazards on both sides of the fairway, with the right side guarding most of the hole's length from your second shot.
Hole #17: The standout hole. It features a massive drop from the tee box, and if you’re accurate with your drive, you can easily hit it over 300 yards. Just be careful with the small stream guarding the hole.
The tee box on hole 16 was slightly under construction due to a pipe being installed, which was a minor inconvenience.

The clubhouse and staff were top-notch and courteous. Although I thought their beverage prices were a little expensive, it's to be expected in Chagrin Falls. I felt the front nine was tighter than the back half, with more trees and skinnier fairways. The greens were slow that day due to the previous rain.

I played on a Saturday with sporadic rain, so we had most of the golf course to ourselves. Despite the challenges, I would definitely come back here again, as there were a couple of holes where I need to redeem myself. The weekend prices are a little over $60, which is expensive, but I believe it was worth every dollar. I would come back.”

“Literally my home away from home. My job entails making deliveries in the northern areas of Ohio which span across 2 days, times per week. I’ve been checking into the Four Points on the first day of my route (2 times per week) for about a year now. The staff are very polite, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean which is a big plus. And the beds are very comfortable.

For the Truckers
They also have a huge parking lot that’s very trucker friendly. I’ve always had an easy time finding a parking spot for my day cab along with my 48ft trailer. I’ve often shared the same parking areas with other semis as well while still having lots room to maneuver out the parking lot after my 10 hour reset.

Overall a great place to spend the night and recharge for the next day.”
