This is a follow up on our review about a purchase of a 2020 Buick Encore bought from the Nourse used lot on the corner of Bridge st. and water st. John Cristy the manager with a sales rep Brayden . I can’t find my previous review and I forgot to tell you we paid $17,000 out the door and the Kelly blue book value is from $10,219 to $12,415 so for the shape it’s in $10,219. Again we paid $17,000 or very close to that . John Cristy said it had been checked bumper to bumper and was a good car with nothing wrong with it . Well like we told you in the previous review that was a lie because we drove it home and it smelled of burning oil by the time we got it home so we took it back 3 times to get the oil cooler fixed because they forgot to get the part number. We live in Jackson so just driving it over there isn’t easy .When we both work . Plus it has steering issues . I told them approximately 7 different times that you had to get it out and drive it on the highway . The Ford service department clearly lied or just didn’t do their job correctly because the steering issue they kept saying there wasn’t one until this last time, they said they fixed it. Which no now it pulls hard to the right which it wasn’t doing that badly at the start of all of this. And now the car is blowing antifreeze everywhere, so I wouldn’t recommend taking your car there to be fixed.Plus , John Cristy said he never heard that that we repeatedly said the car needed to be ran 55 to 60 to really feel what we were talking about the shaking and wobble when driving even though it was reported to the service department numerous times. Well we went and got it yesterday after John said I wanna drive it to make sure it’s good. We went and got it and what appeared as smoke rolling out from under the hood but we got it home . And it was pulling to the right, so much for the test drive he took it on . He called this morning wanting to fix it “ no thanks” I’ll take it to an honest mechanic because I don’t wanna get caught up in the web of more lies plus he says well, you don’t wanna drive it over here so who was gonna pay to get it over there . He didn’t have an answer for that . All I wanna make CLEAR is if you go to John Cristy or Brayden for a car or truck your making a big mistake. I forgot to note it has a warranty on it of 3 months and 4,000 miles that he kept bragging on and he kept saying if anything goes wrong with it just bring it over and we’ll fix it . He didn’t mention that there’s a half a page of things on a back page that aren’t covered . Go figure. I pray this helps keep anybody from going to John Cristy or Brayden at the Nourse used lot on Bridge st. And water st. to purchase a car . Your in the hands of luck not honesty . Please spread the word. . Thanks for stealing my hard earned money John Cristy and Brayden. You won’t have any luck in life living this way. We’ll pray for you to start being honest. The only way this could be made right is for them to give me back about $5,000. You think crooks are gonna give you anything. There probably ripping someone off of there money as we speak. Please spread the word people. Thanks.

I am in a rough position in life, needed a car but buy here pay here's are just unpredictable. Stopped buy to take a look at a few cars and genuinely had the best car buying experience. They were willing to help me with my credit situation and were patient with me. If you're looking to get a nice car from nice people, this isn't a bad place to start

Was going to go here soon for a vehicle but was told pre-owned vehicles will have a tariff price increase starting August 1st. Don't let companies trick you into thinking a truck made in 2024 and earlier were subject to tarriffs. This is manipulative and dirty. Will gladly change my review if this gets changed.

Bought a 2017 Chevy Colorado with 70k miles on it had it a 2 weeks and the transmission was shifting hard, took it back to the dealership got a call 3 days later says nothing was wrong with it when I got it tested it was a “cam shaft fault”, after 2 weeks of it being at the dealership, we get a call saying they have to order a new transmission and have no idea when the other comes in and u must bring the “rental back because it’s not covered under the warranty anymore” would not reconcile this by anyway shape or form. I’m sure I was rude but I think it’s justified when I spend my hard earned money and this place sells u a lemon, asked them to take the vehicle back or put me in one with same miles they said no we’re not going to do that. Everyone I talked to at General Mills says I messed up by going there to begin with because they have always had terrible vehicles with no regard on making timely corrections or any at all. Not going to disbarrage anybody’s image but character on the other hand it needs some work and (Norse ez credit) u need to get rid of him terrible sales manager. If I keep having any isssues with this vehicle legal will be contacted.
10 out of 10 would not recommend.

I bought a car from Ken in October of last year. I was told that there was nothing wrong with the car and that all of the tires were brand new. Not even a week after driving my car it needed to be jumped EVERYDAY! They were asked to check the battery and starter, they replaced only the battery and did not check the starter. I drove 30 minutes and my car needed to be jumped (they did offer for a tow truck to come with them paying however we were able to jump my car). Once they did the work on my car for the SECOND time that day they realized it was the starter and replaced it. They could have avoided working on it a second time if they just did what they were asked the first time. My belts needed changed, my brakes needed changed, and my oil needed changed. When I went for an oil change they asked if I wanted them to change the oil or just turn the light off and not change it. Last week the fabric of my roof in my car started to come off and I had to use nail glue to glue it back. My windshield was placed incorrectly and when I asked about what was noticeable about it Ken told me that it would just need the sponge part pushed back in with a flathead screwdriver and it would be fine, after doing that my windshield now makes noise when I drive all the time. Today my tire had dry rot and I had to spend 150 dollars on a new tire. AFTER I was told that I had brand new tires. After looking at the dates on my tires (found out you could do that today) the one with dry rot was a 2019, another is 2021, and the other two are 2022. It was not a good experience overall since they lied to me about a bunch of things with my car. I would not recommend shopping there.
