I did a warranty exchange on my device due to it freezing after only having it a few months. Initially I was told I would only be charged for that device if there was water damage or cracks in the screen but that there was a $50 restock fee. I was fine with that and I knew neither applied to my phone so I felt comfortable proceeding. I was sent a new device and sent them back the faulty one. I wake up to a charge of $107 on a phone that originally only $200 brand new. I contacted customer service and was told that charge was for "cosmetic damage". There were small scratches on the bottom of the phone. I was never told though that cosmetic damage would result in a charge. Had I known I never wohkd have proceeded with the exchange in the first place and just dealt with the freezing which was happening due to a manufacturers defect. I argue my case and am told basically is my own fault because I didn't read the terms myself and went off of what THEIR WORKER told me. I was offered $20 to basically shut up and leave them alone. I was later told that shouldn't have been offered to me and that all charges were valid and nothing would be done in my favor. In the end I paid $157 plus the $30 odd dollars I paid over the few months I had the phone (I paid $5.55 a month for the device) for a device I no longer have AND have to restart payments on this new phone I was sent. This company is a complete joke and I recommend anyone looking to switch to Spectrum to RUN in the other direction. The first picture is my initial conversation when starting the exchange process. The rest is what I was met with when I tried to get a refund.

I had Spectrum for a year and it was horrible. My Internet went out often. When I was streaming, suddenly the show would freeze and I'd get the stupid spinning circle that took forever to get to 100%. And when I was finally sick of the whole thing and switched to T Mobile, the guy talked to me like I was a moron who didn't know anything and put T Mobile down. Well, I had made my decision and wouldn't back down, then he got nasty. I knew I made the right decision. I'm with T Mobile and my Internet has never had an outage and my shows stream just fine. Best decision I've made was the switch to T Mobile.

Spectrum Chillicothe gets SIX out of five stars! Firstly, I'm stuck with a slow DSL service from a company that I will refer to by the name of "Wilderness." Yeah, that one: You cracked the code... And? It's pretty much outdated as a service, going the way of the old 300 baud dialup (remember that?;-)) Because we all need more bandwidth/speed these days. On Saturday, I walk into the Spectrum store (with no appointment!) to get the service. And? They ask me if THE NEXT DAY (a Sunday!) is okay for the installation! And so they do that, and I've got Internet. And by Wednesday, they bury the cable to complete the installation!What's more, I get an introductory price. And everyone is friendly, from the folks at the office to the installer to the guy who buries the cable. What more could you ask for?

Alex did an amazing job. He went well above call of duty to transfer data from ole demolished phone to the new phone. Excellent customer service skills. Very adept at what he does.

It would be really nice if the staff could "multi-task." I waited 50 minutes to "return a router" to Spectrum.
