Went today to look for foundation, Fenty specifically. Asked for someone to help me match it up and Makenna asked me all kinds of questions about what I was looking for. Although Fenty did not work out for me, she found me the BEST and natural foundation and other items that blew my mind! I’d never heard of Benefit cosmetics and she walked me through each product and step and I loved her personality and passion. It was EXACTY what I wanted. She nailed it and I hope she never leaves Ulta!!!!!

I love going into the Chillicothe Ulta store. The assoicates at this location are very helpful. Keep up the great work Ulta!

Please try to avoid going in person to Ulta and just stick to online if you live in the Chillicothe area. It’s overran with unattended children running and screaming through the store, filling bags with items and leaving them for employees to put up later. Then when I went to checkout, the register was a MESS and the behavior of employees cost the company a lot of money today. They told the woman in front of me to line up in a certain area, so I followed her. They let us and many other stand there in clear view in line for a good 10min til some Karen, buying 1 item mind you, complained that the line is actually supposed to go the other way and immediately the employees change their tune and agree with her, including the girl who told the woman to line up elsewhere. So why did she tell us to line up where we were in the first place and why did they see us there all that time and say NOTHING? Many of us decided just to leave at that point. The employees have no backbone and don’t care for right or wrong, just appeasing Karen’s. I left almost $400 in merchandise sitting and I didn’t have nearly as much as the other women who also left. There was no reason for all of that mess.

Granted, I should’ve checked the hours prior to making a spontaneous stop for my kid to use her gift card that she’s been anxiously holding onto since Christmas, but we were in the area. Watched two girls walk in, followed closely behind and the elderly lady working the counter about had a heart attack, making sure she escorted us right back out the exit “unless we had something specific she could quickly grab for us”. The attitude caught me so off guard that I said no thank you, we’d just hit another location next time and we proceeded through the exit, where it literally felt like she was about to start pushing us out before locking the door behind us. Terrible customer service, whether we were able to actually make a purchase this time or not. I know that I won’t point anyone to this location. Holy rudeness 😳😳😳

Went in there to buy a bottle of cologne a few weeks ago. I was dressed nicely a.d had nice coat etc etc. But I also had a friend who happened to be African American and dressed in clashing colors and wore stereotypical *urban* wear. We were both looking to spend at least a hundred each on cologne. I was after the Burberry hero and my friend wanted a scent by Ralph Lauren. We were immediately accosted by the *,helpful* blond woman who looked to be in her early 50's, followed us around the entire time
It was so obvjo6that we were being profiled that I left and spent 120 dollars online at another vendor. I will never go back to ulta again. We just wanted to spend some money. I understand the industry suggests from shrinkage more now than ever, but ultra has state of the art tech in place to prevent that. I pick up a sample bottle, there she is

I booked 2 appointments here for full face makeup for a bride/bridesmaid. Terrible decision :( The bride's eyeliner was extremely uneven, the foundation was the wrong shade and very cakey. All makeup had to be wiped off once I got home and redone quickly, so I wasted $90. The same artist then did the makeup for a bridesmaid who broke out in hives and had very cakey foundation as well. Also had to redo makeup and wasted another $90. I am going to assume the brushes needed replaced or sanitized. Highly disappointed that I wasted almost $200 on makeup for a wedding and left scrambling just hours before the ceremony.

Ran in to grab something really quick. Noticed Carolin didn’t give me the “now” price and mentioned it. She didn’t even fix it when I thought she did. Aggravating to say something about an issue just to falsely get it resolved. I even paid more than the “was” price

I very seldom leave reviews on anything but today was ridiculous. I paid $137 for my daughter to have formal hair and formal makeup done for prom. The hair was not completely ridiculous but the makeup was INSANE! My 2 year old grandson could've probably done better and at least he would know the difference between gold and silver(silver is what we asked for to match her nails). I did not complain in the store and even left her a $10 tip because I wasn't about to ruin my daughter's day anymore. If you're going to charge these prices, then your workers should be properly trained. We went to Sephora and the nice lady, Rose helped us pick out the right products to fix this mess. I will not slander her name publicly but I will definitely provide the information if someone from Ulta wants to reach out.

I ordered from Ulta in Chillicothe and used door dash. I was delivered the wrong order and had to return it. Then I was not refunded my delivery fee and was charged a 5.00 tip that was not refunded. Don't use door dash.
