Not happy with how I was treated by staff & staff mixed my mother’s information with my information. They would not listen to what I was saying & insisted I included my mother’s information with mine. Earlier in the year I took information regarding my mother’s tax return to the offices of WSSR & at that time told staff who the information was to be given to & that the information was for my mother’s (gave staff her name) tax report. Later I took in my tax information telling them who it was for & who should receive it. Apparently someone put my mother’s information in my folder. Again I took my mother’s information & my information in separately & asked that 2 different people got the information. My mother’s income was mixed with mine & I was told I owed over $6,000.00 to state & federal government. Staff insisted the fault was mine! All I wanted was an apology. However: I was told, we’re sorry this happened BUT you mixed your mother’s information with your information. NO, your staff mixed the information together. I’ve been handling things for my mother & father for 12 years! I am not stupid & I did not cause the mix up. I was also told by staff the office of WSSR handles thousands of peoples’ information a year & mistakes happen. This could have been prevented if someone would have just listened & done what i asked. It was a simple request. 2 separate names & two separate tax preparers taken to their offices at 2 separate occasions. If mistakes like this are made on my little tax report what happens to the big reports involving a lot more people & a lot more money. I will not be returning to WSSR. I also would not recommend them to anyone.
