The American Sign Museum is an amazing and absolutely fantastic place dedicated to the art and history of signs. It is the largest public museum of its kind in the United States, covering more than 100 years of history. Visitors will find an incredible variety of every kind of sign imaginable, from classic Howard Johnson’s and Big Boy’s signs to older signs and vintage light bulb displays, all arranged in different categories. The storefront-laden Signs on Main Street display recreates a typical Main Street, full of sign-related artifacts. The museum is super cool, nostalgic, and like stepping back in time. It is fascinating, educational, and just plain fun. Guests can take a fantastic, one-of-a-kind guided tour or go at their own pace, with stories about the history and artistry behind each piece. There is also a movie about how signs are made and how the museum acquired them. Live restoration work can be viewed on site. The creativity and craftsmanship are truly impressive. While it is a bit off the beaten path, it is definitely worth the drive and highly recommended. Admission is required, but parking is free.
It was not only cool to see the signs but it was very informative and well laid out.

Really enjoyed the tour and the neon light making showcase! Some really neat pieces and found the section toward the back to be a bit immersive which was neat.
