Everyone in America's Best was so helpful. It was a good experience. I purchased 2 pair of glasses Benita was wonderful. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. I will return.

I arrived at the store at 6 :50 pm on Wednesday March 14,2024. When I walked into the store, I thought I was going to be told to come back tomorrow. The sale Rep Shannel ,said she will assist me . I was having problems with my prescription glasses, she explained what was happening with my glasses. She handled the stuation. I left the store with an appreciation that America's Best is truly American's Best Contact & Eyeglasses Store. American' Best was my first eyeglass store about five years ago, American 's Best will be my only eyeglass store. My experience with America's best have always been a good experience since I've been going for the past 3 1/2 years, however I didn't like the 1 hour 30 minutes wait time for a doctor, I understand that it's now remote and I can easily adjust to it, but the wait time is a bummer. I still would recommend America's best but I will warn them it could be a bit of a wait time.

Ms. Shannel was friendly, patient, professional & knowledgeable. She was very attentive and suggested frames that fit me perfectly. I will suggest her and America's Best to anyone needing to purchase eye glasses.

They cancelled my appointment trying to make me go to a different location... I love walking distance and I can't go to Hyde Park. Ridiculous I've always gone too Colerain for 3 years!

I have been bringing my children to this specific location for many years and have always had a pleasant experience. However, on my last visit 1/23, this was not the case. I was met by, not greeted, Lori at the front desk. She was not pleasant, no smile, no eye contact, just straight to the point, “Do you have an appointment?” I said yes and we continued the check in process. She continued asking me questions while looking at her computer and then handed me a tablet to input my information and as I reached for it, she placed it on the counter. She then, out of no where asked for my last four… I said last four what because it was so random after no communication for a while, that I didn’t even realize she still had my name up on her computer, and she looked at me like I was crazy and said, “your social,” in not the most pleasant voice. Then she began to tell me that you all didn’t take my insurance. I explained that I’ve been coming here for years with the same insurance. She (Lori) continued to tell me that she couldn’t find any coverage to cover services, so as I began to walk out of the door, another young lady spoke up kindly and asked if I would mind if she took a look. This young lady’s name was Shannel. She was very calming and professional. She diffused the situation, as Lori had me in a frenzy. I had taken off work and kept my son home from school, to be treated rudely and almost sent home. I went back to Shannel’s desk and she apologized about the confusion and promptly found my insurance. Had Shannel not chimed in as I headed out of the door, America’s Best would have two less patients and a bad review. I left three stars because I didn’t know how to rate my experience. Lori was an absolute 0, however Shannel and the rest of the staff I rate Five Stars! Lori should not be at the front desk greeting, and I use that term loosely, patients. After telling me mother about my experience, who is also a patient (former), she stated that the same thing happened to her and she left after many years because Lori couldn’t find her insurance either. Lori needs proper training on insurance eligibility and customer service or I’m sure this location will continue to lose patients. Again, thanks to Shannel, my son got his exam, two new pair of glasses, covered by insurance and we left feeling good. She definitely turned our negative experience into a positive. It is my hope that Shannel is acknowledged for her professionalism and that Lori is taught the proper way to handle patients at the front desk.Thank you.

I've been purchasing my prescription eyewear from this location for several years. My vision plan works well with the price points at America's Best, and I always find stylish frames that fit my look. Shannel always assists me. Her customer service is phenomenal--professional, courteous, and attentive to details.

My experience at America's best was awesome! the whole staff is extremely helpful, but also kind. The eye exam itself was quick and efficient but the eye tech who helped me and my daughter at the end I will forever be grateful and appreciative to. Her name was Shannel and she is a god send I was having issues with my card and didn't know they didn't accept my daughter's insurance so this very thoughtful and generous woman paid for my daughters glasses without a second thought. I for sure give her and this store 5 stars that will be the place we continue to go thank you again Shannel I cannot express how appreciative I am!!!

We were late for the appointment, Lori had a cancellation and squeezed us in !! Donna very cordial. And shannel was so helpful with our glasses selection at a totally reasonable price. Very patient..great experience

I have been to this location twice in the past. The first time, they swapped frames, putting my reading glasses in my distance frame and vice versa. The last time I came here, the doctor did not get my prescription right. They rechecked my eye, but I was still unable to read street signs clearly. This year I went to MyEyeDoctor on Beechmont Ave. While a long drive, the eye doctor, Mary Celeste Kaiser, got my prescription correct the first time and my vision is crystal clear. I like the location, but the quality is less than satisfactory. Think twice before you come here.

shannel help me with my problem. I was having with my glasses. I had been to this location and other location with the same problem and the other people just put a bandaid on it and I was getting very frustrated but shannel took the time to looked at my glasses and solved the problem. I appreciate her talking the to help me and providing great customer service.

Don't bother with place. You'll want new contacts to witness your first child being born but they'll deny you and say your prescription expired a week ago.
