I’ve been local to the area for about a year and a half now. I frequented this store often and always enjoyed staff and the kind service provided. I was in Ameristop today to pick up a few items and I was disgusted by the conversations at check out. The skinny man at the register was spouting hateful remarks about women, specifically mothers, being an inconvenience to society/ second class citizens/lazy/etc. This was in response to a customer complimenting a woman on their children and how respectful they were. Thankfully that woman was gone by the time this incel started his unstable rant. It was clearly heard by other workers and nothing was said or done. It was incredibly uncomfortable and it was so disappointing to see other workers allow this to go on in front people. As a Woman and a mother I can’t support a business that does not advocate for me.
