Disappointed - did not get the car class/ size I booked which resulted in a very uncomfortable journey for us. When I called customer service to see what they would do for us post the rental period as advised by AVIS - they provided a very minimal refund - I can't see that I would ever utilise or recommend their services.

Renting from the Downtown Avis location has always been extremely smooth, goof customer service, competitive pricing and good vehicle selection.

Small rental office with only a few options if you just walk in. However, the experience was simple, fast, and easy from rental to return. Friendly and professional staff.

This location is pretty fast and give great service. It's tucked away a bit. If you drive to fast you will miss the location on a one way street. Everything is in the garage of the building. You go in do your paperwork, get keys, check vehicle and if all is good use parking ticket they give you to exit the location. Enjoy the ride!

The customer service at this location was awful. The man called me “sweetheart” and then later was rude and snarky. Cars are not cleaned properly before they are rented out - I found a beef jerky wrapper on the floor of the car. The parking lot that holds the cars reeks of urine. I won’t rent from them again.

We booked a car on June 3 and paid for it, we had to change our flight so we weren’t flying in till 2 days later and we cancelled it and got our money back. Now we had to rebooked on Saturday for a new car, so we got a truck. When landing at 650 pm, picking up our luggage and heading over to Avis, we received a notification that our truck turned into a mini van than another notification while in line that there were no more cars left.Our reservation and everyone in this line paid for their cars ahead of time. Money already taken out of the account and 16 families in line that all booked and there are no cars.Terrible service and a company should not be able to over book people like this. They won’t offer hotels for night or even discounts, many of the people here are driving an hour plus away.Save your time and money and don’t book through them.

By far the best Avis location in Cincinnati! I rent there often and highly recommend them. The staff is amazing… I always feel like I am taken care of.

The downtown Cincinnati CV2 location clearly is not well integrated into the corporate Avis system. Be prepared for having to work through problems from the start of your reservation.The downtown location did not have our reserved car class (SUV) and instead provided me with a small sedan that was low on fuel, smelled like smoke, dirty, and had very high mileage and corresponding wear and tear. Their hours are insanely limited and even when they're supposedly open, no one answers the phone (I tried 10 times in order to confirm they had my car ready).Upon arriving on Saturday morning at the start of my rental period, I was told I could drive either wait 3 days for an SUV to come in or take the only available sedan out to the airport to swap out vehicles. I had to refuel the vehicle on my way to the airport, which I paid for myself.Once I got to the airport, the attendants were surprised that I was told a swap was possible and I ended up waiting 45 minutes before they eventually figured out a solution.
