I would give a direct zero, even a one star review is not worth it for this place.
The person at the desk was horrible, I have always rented cars through avis, and never experienced this kind of disappointment. Worst ever.
There were no one at the desk for a very long time, after waiting for ages he came and was not willing to giveme the car I reserved and he was saying it is overbooked, he doesn’t want to give the car and was saying that the prices have increased and he cannot give for the price I have booked.
Omg and he went back inside while we were left waiting at the desk and came back again saying I need to find a different place or go to the airport.
And the way he spoke, we were clueless. Never seen such rude behavior. While we said we are going to report this to avis, he acted like he didn’t care and left us to wait. Such a hardtime for us.
I have planned my travel and we booked well in advance, just to see faces like this.
Avis should strictly take an action on this.

I had RESERVED a rental car in TWO places near the Cincinnati airport, but both places called me to rescind the offer because they had no cars. I was able to rent one here on Glenway Avenue. The car was clean and C.J. was incredibly helpful. He was super busy while we there doing everything from renting the cars to helping with the detailing. His office phone was ringing off the hook. But he was very patient and kind with the people in front of him waiting for cars and the people on the phone. Excellent customer service!!!!!

I’m very disappointed of the customer service I received at this Avis location. Specially by agent name Malissa ( she said it). I’m Avis preferred member for many years and I never experienced this horrible treatment before. She is unfriendly, very rude and very unprofessional. I’m wondering how she’s still at this Job. I’ll definitely avoid this location for good.

The customer service here was lacking. They opened 39 minutes late and I was with 2 kids both under 12 and they told me they weren't allowed in the building and needed to wait outside since we weren't wearing masks. I was unaware this was a requirement to rent a car and didn't get offered one. The car was still dirty, the attendant vacuumed the car and walked around it and handed me the keys. The car was dirty and the steering wheel was sticky. The double charged me for my rental and I had to call customer service to get one of the charges reversed. I also didn't appreciate (like I said I had 2 young kids with me) that she assumed I was going to be smoking pot in the car and let me know if this was the case I would be fined. I don't smoke and made no remarks to make this worker assume this of me. I found it offensive that they thought I would smoke in the car with children. I won't rent from here again. She Also stated several times that if the tank wasn't full and the car was dirty in any way there was a $150 cleaning fine. I brought the car back much cleaner than it was given to me. Budget needs some more friendly staff!

Don't know how they let you book something online when they don't have anything available... tried to call another location and apparently they don't have phones because I was told I can't. Horrible company, go elsewhere it will save you the headache.

It's a very small hole in the wall lot and the website apparently doesn't reflect what they actually have on the lot available. On my way to pick up the car i get a call that the only thing they have is a giant car for 50%more in price. I asked if they can give a discount since that's not what i was promised and they said it's out of their hands - take it or leave it. The guy was nice enough but Avis itself needs a redo - brand promise failure.Edit: I reached out to Avis as requested and they said thanks for the information. There you have it...

Not a dependable source. Your chances of getting a reserved vehicle is 50/50. Everything about this business is sloppy. Never on time when they are supposed to open. I'll drive 10 miles out of my way to avoid this place.

I spoke with DJ who was very accommodating about our rental. We had reserved the car for 3.30 pick up but had to change the time to 10am. DJ was very nice about it and made special arrangements.... with very short notice to make sure we had vehicle ready for puck up the next day at 10am. And we even got an upgrade! The Avis on Glenway Ave in Bridgetown is absolutely the car rental place that we will always choose! 10 stars!

My wife and I reserved a car two months before our vacation.We received an email and text alert the morning of our pick-up confirming our car was ready to be picked up. We arrived at the location, and they informed us they accidentally double-booked our seven-passenger van even though it had been booked two months prior. The reasoning was, “ We need to stay competitive,” aka they charged someone more even though we had it reserved months priors.No voicemail telling us the day we were departing our vacation that they overbooked vans (they don’t have digital resources. It's all pen and paper with notes)We were informed we could rent another van from Avis at CVG airport, but it was an extra $1,000 additional to the one we reserved. We had to take what was offered so we drove 40 minutes to the airport vs our original pick up location was down the street from our residence.We got back from our vacation. I took the vehicle to Mike’s car wash to clean the vehicle, and the lady was vulgar to my wife and informed her she could still see a couple of grains of sand and threaten to charge us $400.00 for a cleaning fee. They should pay someone $400 to clean their disgusting office. No sense of pride with the staff.This is a franchise location of Avis/Budget. It’s not corporate. The people here are rude and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to Enterprise.
