Worst place to rent a car for a trip. I had the same story as many have shared below. I made a reservation two months ago. One hour before I was going to pick up, they called me saying there was no car, no any car, etc. No more business with Avis and Budget at this location forever.

If I could give zero stars I would. Whoever Samantha is, she is incredibly rude and unprofessional. She should never be working with customers with that attitude.
I prepaid $400 for a van a month ago. Im suppose to pick it up tomorrow, so I decided to call and confirm all was good with my reservation. She told me that they had no vans on property and may not even have any until later in the week. I became frustrated because I’ve already paid and I’ve received numerous confirmation emails and the day before my trip, im told I don’t have a vehicle. She got an attitude with me and claimed that she deals with this “all the time” and offered me no alternative solution and gave no sort of empathy. Pretty much painted the picture that I’m shit out of luck. Then she hung up on me.
What a horrible experience and horrible business middle of you to take money from a customer and tell them the reservation is good when it’s not. Never using this company again.
I hope Samantha learns not to take her life frustrations out on paying customers.

If there was a way to put 0 stars I would. After another Avis failed to provide the car I reserved, customer service sent me to this location and specifically named the car that they had available for me. Upon arrival the lady at the desk was extremely rude and unhelpful saying they had no cars available and didn’t care what customer service had said. I realized that this is a company problem, not just a location as the customer service people who had just sent me there offered no explanation other than trying to send me to a 3rd location. Customer service was terrible, service was obviously terrible, was lied to multiple times. Went with National Car Rental and they provided what I needed after Avis told me nobody in the city had any cars….Company is a joke.

Made a reservation 4 months in advance. Called a few days ahead of time to check on something and was told they could not honor my reservation because no cars would be available. Agent was abrupt and sassy...almost as if they felt like it was my fault for expecting a car that I reserved to be available on a holiday weekend. I said I was surprised no one had called to cancel, and was told that they wait until the day before to do this...even though they know already that they can't honor the reservation. Agent offered no suggestions, but when I asked for suggestions they told me to call customer service and change my reservation to the airport. Not only is this going to add hours to my trip (to get in and out of the airport from north of the city on a holiday weekend), but I found out that Avis won't honor the price I reserved. The price is way higher to reserve at the airport. So I am being penalized by having to go way out of my way to get a car and pay a higher rate, due to no fault of my own. And I only found out about it by proactively contacting Avis when they should have let me know as soon as they knew they had reservations they couldn't honor. I don't recommend Avis in general, but specifically this cannot recommend this location...such wretched customer service. After reading through the other reviews I see that this is a common theme...they clearly don't care to address it.

I have rented at least 8x per year for multiple years- I parked my car in a spot which said AVIS- I did not realize this was not for customers- My car was towed and placed in the pound. I will never rent a car from Avis again. The only sign there says: Private Tow away zone- Resident/CUSTOMER Parking only.

Bad experience.
Made a reservation one week prior picking up the car. 14 hours prior receiving a car I got a call informing me that they would give me a car only for an additional 20$ a day, as the car size I reserved is not available.
They should have either gave me the car they had for the price I reserved or get the right car size in time as they had the whole week to do so.

Horrible staff. We came at 6pm to pick up our car that was scheduled for pickup then. The door was already locked but the staff were still inside. We knocked and got their attention but they signed us to go away. We stayed there for 30 minutes outside to get our car since we had a night trip planned out already. They would not even explain why they couldnt give us a car. They never even tried to talk and after 30 minutes just left via a backdoor. The experience was very dehumanizing and the disgusting staff is treating paying customers like animals.

I tried to return my car rental at 6 pm at this location when my reservation ended. I was worried I may be 5 minutes late due to heavy traffic from flooding, accidents and downed trees from Hurricane Helene. When I called Avis, the employee told me she was leaving 10 minutes early and I would have to pay for an extension on my reservation and return the next day. I did. When I came to drop off the car, it was the same employee whom I spoke to the evening before. I asked her name and she refused to tell me and told me I had an attitude when I asked why I couldn't have simply returned the car when my reservation ended at 6. I needed the extra 10 minutes she wouldn't allow me, again due to repercussions from a hurricane! The last time I've seen customer service this bad was when I vacationed in a third world country. Save yourself the stress and spend a few extra dollars with Enterprise or National. I've never had a good experience with Avis, and this was the cherry on top.

Cleaner cars than the Kenwood and Galbraith locations, but on pickup and return this location was not open at 8am (4/29/24 and 5/2/24). You can leave a car here in the back if there’s room, so that’s nice.

The clerk was very nonchalant and the Malibu we rented was dirty and not ready for the next person. The car drove well however.
