I've been going to Banfield for years, and I've finally cut ties. Front desk staff are rude and unknowledgeable. Nurses won't make you feel like your pet is in good hands. You'll never actually see a vet. They do not take your pet's unique lifestyle and environment into consideration when giving vaccines, medication, and medical services. They'll slap you with a 10 page print out of general information and push you out the door. Side note: wellness plans are yearly, and you can't cancel them at any time like you would a subscription model. You have to wait for the plan to expire and remember to have auto renew turned off.

Every visit is worse than the last. This location has gone down hill in the last 10 years. You'll leave here with more problems than you started with. Please find professional care elsewhere for your pets sake.

While my initial visit on Saturday was a complete disaster with Dr. Midkiff which left me, my husband, and our 15 year old dog severly traumatized, we returned and saw Dr Holbrook on Friday. Him and the staff were professional, compassionate and fantastic. They truly listened to our concerns regarding our beloved dog and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. THANK YOU!

By far the best Banfield Pet Hospital location in the Tri-state area. Staff is always incredibly friendly/helpful. They take my concerns about my pets seriously and truly are a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend.

Didn’t clip my cat’s nails far enough last time. Too much $ not to be done right

My dog is over 15 and we had taken him several months ago for a checkup and saw the male veterinarian because he could hardly walk without pain, cannot jump, cant see, can't hear, doesn't llike to be walked, held or touched because it hurts him and his, spine is protruding out his back,. At that time the male vet said to just keep him comfortable because this was all part of his aging and deteriorating and if symptoms got worse to bring him in. Well, several monts later...he was getting worse, incontinence all over house, running into everything because he can't see, progressed to whining and howling all day, doenst want to walk on leash at all pitside, has lost weight, etc. I made an appointment to discuss end of life. and my husband and I were shown into a darkened room where the procedure for euthencia was explain,ed tand they asked our choices and even made my husband go pay out front (up front no less) before the procedure, They took my dog to the back to place the port in his arm and brought him back in to me so I could be with him during the procedue. .Then this female Dr Midkff came in and proceeded to tell me my dog wasn't ready. They could run tests, x-rays, give medications, etc. While she was "examining" him in the back I could hear him yelping and whining which in no way sounding "normal'... all vet was doing was trying to milk us for more tests, blood work, cat scans, x-rays, medications which they did for over 8 years they treated him and miraculously never forund anything wrong. This was a very traumatic experience for me, my husband and my dog. We took him home and are going to find a more suitable veterinarian who isn't goal driven to make as much money as they can.She is the sorriest excuse for a vet I have seen and should not be practicing. Oh and then of course my husband had to wait in line to get refund for this "procedure" that they say wasn't needed. So much for my poor dogs quality of life which they care nothing about. As long as he is breathing they only see dollar signs.

I love the yearly wellness plan at Banfield. I have a family member who is a veterinarian and we're usually going thru her; however, the first year of a new puppy requires a lot, between shots, neutered/ spayed, chipped, DNA panel with any pre-existing health conditions (breed &/ or other) plus so much more!! So great to have options for phone a vet, visits and all preventative medicine is included in the plan. If it's not then there's a huge discount. I'm on my 3rd puppy in 1st year plan and have never had an out of pocket expense greater than $75 for all of their visits and medication. Definitely a budget friendly option and the staff has been nothing but wonderful! ( over the last 13 years)Newest puppy in blue is Atlas/ 6 mos. oldAdult black/white husky, Summit ,past away this year at 13 yrs oldAnd the puppy with him is Tallulah Rye, she's now 15mos old and a sibling to our newest puppy ( same parents, different litter)

I give 4 stars only because I would prefer if the prices were better, but that's banfield as a company not the veterinarians. The ladies and man that work here and Oakley that I have come in contact with have been caring, attentive, they explain and make sure I have a chance to ask questions if I want. The service and the employees are great. My pups and I thank y'all!
