I saw the horrible reviews when I looked up their number and was shocked. Would never imagine that the person accepting donations would piss me off enough to write a bad review, but I was wrong. RUDE. Didn't bother to go in. Had enough.

As a fan of thrift shops, I love going to any thrift shop out of town to see what they offer. This Goodwill is very clothes oriented especially towards the front, to the point that when we walked in my husband and I thought they only had clothes. Fairly well organized but they didn't have a large electronic section so we didn't get much. Employees were generally friendly and we looked around for about twenty minutes before we made our purchases.

They've somehow managed to make their prices higher than Ebay. 8 dollars a season for DVDs and 3 for individual movies. I can go shop at Half Price Books and find most DVD seasons for cheaper or comparable prices and they're organized and easy to find. I only pop in here from time to time because there really isn't anywhere good to thrift on this side of town but, at this point, I wouldn't even consider this a thrift store. It's sort of like a regular retail store but with more headache.

I will not be buying anything from goodwill no more because their policy is You can't return anything except for clothing I bought an item It wasn't even 5 minutes went outside opened it up to make sure everything was there and it wasn't took it back into the store to return it and they said they could not return it They were very rude about the situation and they didn't even tell me their policy when I bought the item so I will not be buying anything from them again Why buy something if you can't take it back and you have the receipt What a waste of time and the item don't even work The store I guess just wants to rip people off if they're not going to give you your money back for something that's broke and missing parts and they know it

I went to this Goodwill today to buy books for my classroom. I am a first year teacher and so excited to start this journey. I was thrilled when I saw the abundant variety of books so I got a lot since my room is bare. I grabbed some and headed to the checkout. There was no pricing listed so I had to wait to ask once I got to the register. The cashier was not friendly, but I can understand that as having worked in retail many years. My friend and I were separating the hard back books from the soft back since they were priced differently. As we were putting them in their respective piles, I saw a few that I didn’t want and put them in their own pile. Granted, this didn’t take long. Maybe two-three mins. The cashier was rude and dismissive. I told her I was sorry for the anoint but I’m a first year teacher, blah blah blah. She couldn’t have given a lick of care less than she did. I made sure there was no one behind me in line. There was another register or two open as well so that I wouldn’t inconvenience anyone because I knowPeoples time is precious. This man from be hind me comes in line as I am loading my things onto the register. He gets irritated as I mentioned previously, I am buying a bulk amount of books and loudly sets his one item down and tells “I thought we made decisions before we checked out. “ I was baffled. I am a young women and was immediately shocked. Having a middle aged man yelling at me was not on my agenda. I told him I apologize but I’m trying to provide for my student. It was a very horrible experience. The cashier, other employees, customers- said nothing. This man verbally assaulted me in front of many people. The cashier did nothing to help resolve this issue. I had forgot my credit card so I placed my phone on the credit card machine to pay. I was flustered and wanting to escape this situation as quickly as I could. The cashier then decided to belittle me and tell me it’s not ready and I shouldn’t have been doing that. Her tone was extremely disrespectful. I apologized for the whole situation. I am cool tempered. I understand these jobs are difficult. But, there is NO need to make someone feel stupid for doing what the store is open for:shopping. I’m sorry if working at Goodwill is annoying, or bad, or whatever. Don’t take it out on the customer. I was nothing but nice and respectful. I did NOT deserve this treatment. I will never be coming back to this store due to the lack of customer service and personality. Do not come to this store. They are rude and will not help you in any manner. I hope the chaser gets reprimanded. This is not okay to do to people.

Overpriced! Returns are store credit only, which is not made clear in any way. You can in no way try on clothing before purchase. Sadly, this store sucks. It has consistently gone down hill over the past 3 years. Pleaee, for me, go to any other thrift.. Saint Vince is way better.

I have been at this location several times for several years and have never been treated so rudely. The woman I believe to be the manager upon my sister and I walking in immediately told us no drinks were allowed, which was weird since this rule is posted literally nowhere (I checked.) We had asked “Really?” And she replied in a very condescending tone “Really.” We walked out, finished drinks, threw them away and came back in to shop. This rudeness I could have brushed off but the fact she proceeded to mean mug us the entire time we stood in the check out line is just unacceptable. We did nothing to deserve that sort of treatment and I I’m not sure I’ll ever be coming back if they think that’s sn acceptable way to treat a paying customer.

This Goodwill is in such a nice neighborhood. Goodwill stores are more professionally run than St. Vincent de Paul, by a big amount, it seems.Items are certainly easier to get to and retrieve at Goodwill. They’re good items too. Not to mention 50% off days weekly or a few days a week depending on your age, Veteran’s status, etc. It seems heads and tails better to me.Good job Goodwill!

Was in this store today and prices are crazy stupid. Dead candles, $5, a sandwich bag of loose sea shell's, $5. I took a ? picture because who would believe, some organization would be so ignorant on pricing. Seriously, hasn't a high ranking company official reviewed this store for accuracy or validation. Don't waste your time.

Way over priced, this place is meant for us poor people to shop at. Tell me why no one can afford it anymore. Can't return items that were on sale, that wouldn't be a problem if you could try stuff on. All the other good wills opened up their dressing rooms except this one.
