Eric with Harvest Tax and Accounting was referred to me by a colleague. I'm a contractor, and my spouse runs their own business, so our taxes were becoming too difficult for me to continue to navigate on our own. We had used a different local accounting service the year prior with dire results; we ended up owing the IRS over $20,000! We went to Eric to help us get things straightened out. Not only did he work hard to help us understand our situation (I needed a lot of education that my former accountant wasn't willing to put in the time to provide to me), but he also spent time calling the IRS to get our situation worked out when glitches arose in our payment plan (the IRS has an antiquated system and essentially lost my payments). I'm happy to report that after a year of working with Eric, we were able to get right with the IRS again and are in a good and expected situation for 2023, no surprises! We also have a much better understanding of how are taxes work.I appreciate Eric's work to educate us, relieve worries (taxes are stressful), and make sure I understand what I need to do.
