Worst service ever from a man who said he was a MANAGER! On July 3rd at 11am when we were due to pick up at noon. Told my husband we couldn't rent the luxury suv with a debit card. New rules for this year and said too bad. Said I was a bad customer because I called him names, the name was ridiculous! Who implements changes to rental when you are there to pick up? If I needed a major credit why not ask for full payment when I booked the rental 6 months ago!? Stuck his head out the door of the business and told my husband, as I was on the phone with this "manager" and tells him your wife ruined the chance of you renting, she is rude and I am not doing business with her!!!! Wow broke my heart went to Enterprise down the street got a better deal when I explained how unfriendly their neighbors at budget rental were. They were happy to take my business! If I could give a zero I would as well! Happy 4th of July!

My rating would be a zero! Lisa and CJ were rude, unprofessional and racist. I reserved and confirmed my rental prior to going to pick it up. When I arrived I was told rudely that she had sent a text stating they didn’t have a car for me and didn’t know if they would have one today. I didn’t receive any information from her. They were unwilling to work with me and had no idea of when or if they would have a car available for me. Luckily enterprise had a car and were very friendly and helpful. I had to pay more but at least Budget didn’t ruin my family vacation. I will never and suggest you never use this location for your rental needs. Again Lisa and CJ are some of the worst people I have ever met!

Unfortunately Budget Car rental on glenway has low star ratings for good reason. We received a text an hour before we were due to pick up our minivan saying they didn’t have a car for us. Thinking it was spam (text came from a Florida number and spelled our name wrong) we still arrived to get our car. Once we got there we were greeted by Lisa who may be one of the most aggressive rude people I’ve ever met. She proceeded to yell at me and my husband asking why we came and that there was no car for us or anything she could do for us. After asking for a manager, she said he was in the Bluetooth of her headphone listening in. Her manager supposedly told her that we could take one of their vehicles to take to CVG airport to get a minivan or full size SUV. My husband proceeded to drive to CVG airport where he spoke to the Budget regional manager there and was told there was no vehicle available for him and that he was the only person who could approve something like this, and never did. My husband was then stranded at CVG airport and had to be picked up by a relative.
During this whole fiasco we were able to call around and thankfully find a vehicle with another company. Mary in Budget customer service told us that since they were not able to supply a vehicle to us, as promised, that if we found a vehicle of similar model they would pay the difference in price and that we would simply need to submit a receipt from the other car rental to be reimbursed. Budget customer service is now claiming this is not true and that they will not reimburse us for the difference.
I will never and could never recommend Budget car rental due to the serious headache this has caused. PLEASE take your business elsewhere. I would give this zero stars if I could.

Do not rent from here. I’m not going to go into all the details (because there’s a lot to say), just take my word for it and rent from a different location, even if that means driving a bit further. It’s worth your time to go somewhere, anywhere, else.

Wow.... The costumer service is beyond horrible. Her name is Lisa, she was so disrespectful and rude to me and my wife. And we were just asking questions about the rental terms and she could not have been more disrespectful unprofessional and condescending. The worst service I've EVER dealt with. I WOULD NOT, I REPEAT... I WOULD NOT rent from this place.

Do not rent from this location. They are very untrustworthy and rude. I gave it a try 2 times and it has been multiple issues regarding additional credit card transactions, that that are not willing to lend attention to. No accountability whats so ever. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE PLEASE!
Beware! The condition of the store, lot and the lack of professionalism speaks volumes about how they do business. Go to Mike Albert, its a better rental experience.
If you do decide to rent from here, asK lots of questions,, document conversations, take photos and videos and most importantly secure your personal/financial information.

Our car rental pick up was at 6 but the place was closed when we arrived at 5:50. I mean we already paid so we had to call customer service to get a refund.
If they could've email us or say something about the change of time we would've totally understand but this was very rude.
We're not using Budget or Avis in the future

I’ve rented from this location a few times now, each time I’ve been happy with all aspects of renting a car for the day. You guys are amazing and it’s soo much nicer to ride down the road, rent the car. Rather than going all the way to the airport. I’m happy with y’all thank you CJ and I wish I could remember the young lady that checked me out today’s name (11/12/2023). Thank You Guys. This will be my third time renting from this location. It is extremely convenient as opposed to going to the airport.. CJ is awesome at what he does. Very knowledgeable and a problem. Solver the pinnacle of a customer service representative.. when I return the vehicle Lisa did my check-in. She was extremely thorough. Very friendly. It is experiences like this that keep me coming here.. Way to go guys!

Wish I could give it 0 stars. CJ is such an awful person. Claiming they had to close early because he needed to be with his family, like he is the only person in the world who works. Listen to all the comments and DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. This place should not even be in business.

This was a horrible experience, I arrived at open to pickup my rental with my husband and niece and nephew (8&10 yrs old) There was no one there until about 15 minutes after they were supposed to open. The woman behind the counter told us only 3 people inside and I just wanted to add my husband as a driver. I was a little embarrassed because I didn't have on a mask since I didn't think I would need one at a car rental pick up and She gave us dirty looks for not masking up & didn't have them to offer us. I would have gladly put one on if it was available. She said if you're married I don't need a license from him so they went outside. She was very short with me and then gave me paper work to fill out. I prechecked in for everything online. Then she went to run my card. I didn't know I had to have a $600 limit so I gave her a different card from what I used to make the reservation. It was a debit card and she explained because it was a debit it would have to put a hold on more than that. I said that was fine. She proceeded to drag out a shop vac and it's hose, walked outside to a dirty car and vacuumed it out. She walked around checking for scratches and wiping off dirt from the side of the white car to make sure there were no scratches underneath them. I took pictures so not to be held liable for scratches that were obviously already there. She started the car and said no smoking doobies in the car. I informed her the kids weren't smokers so she said we could go. For some one who was worried about germs it would have been nice if the car was wiped down. I had to stop and wipe the steering wheel as well as stuff splashed on the doors before we could go on our day trip. I made sure when I returned the car it was clean. I did forget to put gas in the car. It had a half tank and was a Prius so I wasn't expecting it to be too much. I was emailed a receipt for everything for $105.96 but they charged me $144.74 on my card as well as $42.07 on my first card. I only had the car for one full business day and I was given a receipt from Budget for a different amount but was actually a charge of $186.81. That's outrageous! poor service, dirty car, shady billing. Highly recommend you avoid this place at all costs!

CJ failed to notify us our reservation wasn’t actually available until we arrived. However out of all the cars in the lot one was available for an up charge of about $100 a day. Then said he was now closed and couldn’t do anything else. The place was filthy on top of everything else, very ran down the owner should be ashamed. Beware budget and Avis rentals are ran from this location but pull up separately so be caution of the address. Will be pushing this to BBB, etc.
