Had a pretty disappointing experience with Camp Bow Wow. We have never had any behavior problems with our dog. In fact, she has passed her training program and holds a certificate to visit schools and nursing homes. She also plays well at dog parks and has never been part of a fight (which break out often there with other dogs). We wanted a place for her to be able to play with other dogs on days where we were both at the office, Camp Bow Wow seemed like a perfect fit. My dog had passed all of their temperament tests and had been to visit there many times (6 or 7) without incident or anything noted about her behavior. Then we asked for a grooming appointment, and the groomer called us to say that she could not complete the grooming. I understand that things happen, but the groomer was rather rude on the phone call, and seemed to doubt that she had been fine with other groomers. I didn’t think much about it, but every time we dropped her off after that interaction with the groomer we received phone calls about her behavior. We had never had problems with this before, so we watched her on the puppy cams to check her behavior. While watching her play we did solve one mystery, she would come home very wet some days, and we saw her being sprayed by team members when doing nothing more than walking past them. Our dog did not seem bothered by it and she loved playing with the dogs so we didn’t say anything. Today they told us that she was no longer allowed at Camp Bow Wow. Nothing had happened, no fight or anything like that, just not welcome. I would understand if there had been some sort of inciting incident, but there was none. From what we could see, our dog was being a puppy who wanted to play. It seemed unnecessary to spray her with a spray bottle constantly, which we would see happening. Bow Wow‘s slogan is “where a dog can be a dog.” Apparently not.

The facility is so clean and nice! I appreciate the access to the cameras to see how the dogs are doing. But, the best part about Camp Bow Wow is the incredible care they give to the dogs. My dogs love enrichment days and I love the pictures from enrichment days! Could not recommend more highly

We take our mini Australian shepherd to day camp at least once a week here and he absolutely LOVES it. The staff are super friendly and always provide feedback when asked how our little guy did that day. They have cameras in every room that you can watch if you want to see what they're up to as well. We like that he comes home tired from playing with all his friends, it's definitely worth every penny! Added bonus: on special days (back to school, valentines etc) he comes home with a picture that they take on site with backdrops related to that holiday and they are too cute. Thank you Camp Bow Wow for taking care of our fur baby!

I love being able to my furbabies via webcams on the app as they meet, great and play with new friends. For my healthcare traveler friends.this a national chain so we have lots of options for our furbabies.

Camp Bow Wow is a great place for our dog to play and get worn out while we are at work. He comes home happy and tired! I love the doggie cams

The staff was very friendly and called to confirm my dog’s trial day at day care the night before. They were prepared to welcome us on day 1. The communication has been outstanding. The app is easy to use and convenient.

I love how excellent they were with my dog yesterday. All the girls there loved her and told me anytime I needed/wanted to bring her back to please do. Jessica R. gave me the 2 pictures I added. My dog did day camp while my mom and I went to the zoo. We were in Cincinnati to pick up my daughter's dog that was flying in from Hawaii.

The staff at Camp Bow Wow (Blue Ash) is beyond unprofessional and insulted my dog!I scheduled an interview session for my two dogs. After having them for only an hour and a half, we were called and informed they failed my older dog (a 10 year old beagle) due to him snapping at other dogs. That alone is fine, I’m not upset if it was not a good fit for him. However, the employee then had the audacity to call him deaf and senile!Upon arriving for pick up I was informed that it was picture day, which meant they were continually moving dogs through a gate separating two areas. They separated my two dogs and then failed my older dog for snapping at dogs getting to go into the area with his brother. Shame on this place for judging my dog on an abnormal day, causing additional stress in a new situation by separating him from his bother and then having the gall to call him senile to his parent!Camp Bow Wow must only want perfect dogs that don’t need additional time to acclimate. Senior rescue dogs need not apply.

Our dog loves going to Camp Bow Wow for boarding! She gets to play with all of the other dogs at Day Care during the day and we love being able to see how much fun she is having via the webcams. The facilities are clean and the staff are all friendly. We feel fortunate to have found a place we can trust while we are out of town.

As someone who recently became the proud owner of an adorable puppy, I wholeheartedly endorse Camp Bow Wow as an excellent choice for their care. The team there is incredibly friendly and genuinely committed to ensuring your dog's well-being. I have complete peace of mind when leaving my Hammy at Camp Bow Wow, knowing that he is in good hands. Every time he returns home, he is not only happy but also enjoys the most restful sleep.

I wanted to like this place so much. we live close by and my dog is high energy and loves being around other dogs. we took him here to get groomed and check the place out for overnight boarding and doggy day care thinking this could be the socialization our dog needs. our dog is 16 months old and he can be a handful but he has never been aggressive. he is still getting used to be around other dogs but it's all out of love. he just wants to play. when I first got there, I noticed there were several people sitting around and no one attempted to really greet my dog. I just expected people that worked there to be dog/animal lovers and it did not appear that way. most were on their phones or otherwise not engaging with the animals. they had web cams to watch in the lobby and there were dogs playing but it didn't look like there were any handlers playing with them. just dogs running around. like I said, my dog is young and just learning how to interact with other dogs. I wouldn't want him to be unmonitored in case dogs got aggressive with him for being too energetic and too in their face. that was a big strike to me. either way, we dropped him off and planned to pick him up 2 hours later. however, immediately upon getting home (maybe 10-15 min after dropping him off) I get a phone call to come and get him because he is reactive to the other dogs and won't calm down. this is not entirely unexpected for him to want to be around the other dogs. like I said, he's social and he wants to play. but he's a great listener and a smart dog. I find it hard to believe he was the first ever dog who wanted to play with other dogs. or the first ever dog who was nervous about a blow dryer. and with only a few minutes having passed, it just didn't feel like they even tried to work with him. I know he is a lot to handle being young and a high energy breed. but he's a good dog and never once has he growled or bitten anyone. I know they have had more difficult dogs but there was no effort or attempt to work with him it seems. this would have been a nice fit for us and for our pup, but between the customer service and the grooming service both being decidedly subpar, we'll take our business elsewhere. you might want to, too.

I took my 16 month old dog to Camp Bow Wow after a recommendation from a friend. While waiting in the lobby after arriving, a dog barked at my dog (siberian husky) and my dog jumped away as he was scared, but didnt bark or even go toward the dog. I was told on the phone when setting up the interview that when the dog arrives they keep him in an area by himself for 15 minutes so he can adjust to the surroundings and after this he would be placed with dogs his size and I could also view this on the live cam. I pulled up the cam right away after leaving and kept viewing it along with my children. An hour and a half went by and no one entered the area my dog was in or even came into the room to see him. He just kept walking around and looking at the other dogs on both sides of his area. He didnt bark, he didnt jump just watched them and walked around. I was now concerned something was wrong since I was told that would only be a 15 minute increment of his morning, so I emailed the facility and asked about this and stated I was only concerned because its been an hour and a half and hes still by himself. No one responded to the email, but within 5 minutes of sending it a lady walked in with a leash and just kept holding it in front of her and walking toward his face as if she wanted him to walk himself into the leash, he just kept walking away from her and at one point laid down and just looked at her. This went on for about 5 minutes and then my dog had his back to her and was looing through the gate at other dogs and she came up behind him and put the leash on. He didnt fight it, didnt jerk away , but then walked out with her. She came back with him in a few minutes and let him off leash and left. Then she walks back in a few minutes later and opens the gate and lets a lab walk in. The lab immediately snaps at my dog and goes toward him and he fell awkwardly down and got back up and then snapped back at the lab twice toward his rear arear. The employee then took the lab out and came back and quickly put my dog on a leash and walked out with him. He was then not on camera for a total of 25 minutes and no one responded to my emailm but I got a call (after only being there 2 hours and 15 mins) and the employee said sorry Rocky isnt working out at camp, he tried to bite another dog 2x and he was too timid to get his leash on when the staff member tried to get near his collar. (I take my dog to a dog park in which he plays with dogs big and small and has never tried to bite another dog, if anything hes scared of some of the bigger dogs and hides) . When I came to pick my dog up, the staff hardly said a word, just got my dogs name, walked away and came back with him and didnt say a word to me until I started to walk away they said sorry we couldnt pass him. Staff still hasnt responded to my email asking them why he was left for an hour and a half when they told me it would be 15 mintues alone and my questions on why he didnt get the 3 hour minimum time to try camp.

I should have just turned around and not gone inside. First impressions are everything right? From the parking lot I could hear an employee screaming "shut up" to the dogs out in the yard. I definitely don't want my dog subjected to that abuse!!
