Care medical is the best option in greater Cincinnati for custom wheelchairs and repairs. They have some parts in house but they can quickly get what you need. 9 years ago they didn’t take my insurance and I had to use the national company for a new wheelchair. I’m so glad they take it again. Their customer service is miles ahead of the national company that starts with Nu… Highly recommend Care Medical.

I'm a paraplegic, 6 months or so ago I met with Craig, a sales rep. Made my order while still in rehab... Still don't have my chair, I've been calling, and still can't get a accurate answer as to what I need to do to be able to get my chair. I feel like they are just kinda pushing me off to the side, what is it I'm supposed to do, I'm bed ridden without it thanks a lot guys .. I talked to Noah last just a few days ago, we'll see if he's any better... I'll update.

We’ve been loyal clients for years, the only company we trust for our dme needs. Fast response times, they’ve been around for a while so they know how things work such as PA’s etc. Definitely my go to for my daughter with CP, I recommend anyone with custom equipment needs to check out care medical.

We had a special cushion that we ordered to replace one that was worn out. The new one had an air leak. I spoke with Noah, sent him info, and within a few hours he had contacted the manufacturer and arranged for the warranty replacement to be sent to my home. Boom! Done! Thank you Noah!

Excellent customer service! I have only went through Care Medical for any and all of my daughter's equipment needs. Danny is typically the individual that services minor repairs to my daughter's electric chair. There were many times when he came to her school to service her chair...very helpful and convenient. There have also been occasions where something "out of the ordinary" happened to my daughter's chair and she had a special event coming up. Whenever possible, which was most of the time, Danny would see that her chair was fixed so she did not miss out on valuable opportunities. As a matter of fact, even though my insurance now has Care Medical listed as an "out-of-network" provider, I have not, nor will I switch companies. There comes a time when customer service far out-weighs anything else and this definitely applies with them. Thank you!

I was really in a bind being that I’m from out of town and didn’t know the area they knew exactly what I needed found it in stock and gave it to me for an amazing price! Noah and the rest of the team were very friendly and knowledgeable!

They fixed my daughter's power wheelchair for a very reasonable price and have been helpful in replacing her batteries. I would recommend them as a good alternative to Children's Hospital's chair repair services.

This place sold my quadriplegic son a wheelchair that simply did not fit him. Even after the sales rep had came to measure and discuss the options with me. It took over 6 months just to get the first chair and it was not the color we had ordered. He tried to get me to take it and I refused. Then it took another month to get the correct one and only after I had called repeatedly and finally spoke with the manager. Again the sales rep came and "fitted" the chair but at least this time my son was sitting in it and was actually acknowledged. When I took my son from the chair to put him in bed I realized that the seat cushion was not even under his bottom. It was four inches too small it was not the antitrust cushion that my son requires. Which I had specifically asked for. I called and explained this and was promised that the correct size and type of cushion would be broight to me as well as the proper sized chest harness some the one broight to us was a small and my son is a 5'10" grown man. It never came I called repeatedly and finally gave up. When my son was finally seen by a new OT they were shocked by how many pillows and blankets and towels I had to roll up just to position my son in his chair. All of which constantly needed readjusted any time he coughed or had a spasm. They contacted Care Medical and requested that the chair be upgraded to actually fit my son. We went through the whole process again and then during the time it took them to finally order it my sons insurance changed to Buckeye, which the sales rep had been made aware of before hand. Care medical had the nerve to call and say they had all of the necessary parts needed for my son to finally after 2 years be able to use the chair that they sold him but now they can't bring them to him because they don't take his new co insurance.
We have since tried to go through other suppliers but all are telling us it is the responsibility of care medical to make it right. None if them will service the chair or order new parts. So we are stuck with a chair that does not fit for 3 more years unless we pay the $5300 to make it right put of our own pocket.
