The one and only place I will go to in Cincinnati for buying and selling precious metals. The owners (Brad and Mike) have an incredibly vast amount of knowledge regarding coins and currency and the prices they buy at and sell to you is more than fair (and incredibly transparent). I even take our 3 young children there from time to time and Brad and Mike couldn't be any more kind and patient with them as they peruse the collection. Coins Plus is (some pun intended) truly the gold standard for coin shops in Cincy.

I was brushed off so fast I didn’t even catch the old man’s name. I brought in some coins and an error baseball card. I was immediately berated about the card being too new & what’s even the error which I explain. Still too new, okay whatever onto the coins. Then basically the same thing with the coins, “this one is new, these aren’t silver, and you don’t even have wheat Pennies.” I mention well, I gathered the ones with dates and stamps I found listed online. ( mostly old Pennie’s) I spent a lot of time looking online at a lot of different sites (these are not sites even selling coins but how to find rare or possibly valuable ones, this I wasn’t even able to relay) & he said oh they just want to sell stuff, before I could even finish my sentence. The whole thing was extremely belittling and rude. Like I get it’s ’your Job’ to know what you’re looking for, but it’s also ‘your Job’ to be polite and maybe direct someone to another buyer or something if I don’t have something you’re interested in, not make them feel stupid for checking. I specifically have one penny (god forbid it wasn’t a wheat penny) that could be worth a lot according to like idk 8 different websites. But he sifted his hands through my change not even flipping them all over, tells me “there aren’t even wheat Pennies, no this is just money” and throws his hands up like what is this junk you have, it’s not worth my time. I didn’t even bother to bring up that one penny because he made me feel like I was wasting his time and I was an idiot. I’ll never go back here again.
I will also mention after reading some of these other reviews, it seems like there is a pattern of 30ish yr old women ( I am one of them) having the same types of experiences here and that’s a problem… So fair warning middle age women, don’t waste Your time.

Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly. Clean nice place with some very cool coins and currency. Highly reccomend and will do business again.

I have had a coin collection since childhood. I no longer wanted it. I inquired about its value. The owner said bring everything in and he would go over everything. I was there about an hour. He was very nice and explained everything as we went. He was very fair. I would recommend him to anyone who has coins that they want to know the value of. He gave me a check on the spot for everything.

I love it,it's one of the best coin shops hands down,I just bought me a Carson City & a quarter ounce gold eagle & some uncirculated Mercury dimes. Mike the coolest dude ever and he's so helpful and there isn't anything he don't know when it comes to this,he is the go-to guy especially when it comes to constitutional,he's an expert in all fields silver rounds American Eagles gold coins constitutional

No good customer service,representative didn't ask about the coin itself just that they had many. But each coin is different. Never asked to see the coin in question the person was very unprofessional. I would not seek their services again nor implore of them any questions about this.
