The Dollar General store on Pippin Road, near Colerain is a store where you could buy limited groceries, unlike Kroger or Meijer. It's located at the Northbrook Shopping Center in Hamilton County. There aren't too many establishments nearby.
The overall setup of the store is nothing special or exciting. Overall, the store seems congested, not well organized and you always see stacked merchandise within carts in corners to be stocked or shelved, which leads to space constraints and doesn't allow you to move freely. There are very tight and narrow corners between aisles within the store. All of the item prices aren't exactly a dollar a piece!
Mostly, there is either chaos/confusion at the Cash Registers, either with a lack of cashiers or even anybody in the front! This would really surprise you! Cash register/POS issues are quite common. Certain Cashiers aren't that well educated of either their own merchandise or the exact prices.
Please avoid shopping here, especially late in the evenings. There have been multiple issues of robberies or other disturbances. It's also because of the locality or even the visiting clientele! It's also not the most safest place! Exercise caution, be aware of your surroundings and use your own wise judgments.

This is the worst dollar general store I have ever shopped in. The employees and manager were very rude to the customer. Blaring music more worried about talking to one another than doing their jobs. The manager runs this DG like a damn trap house. Just disgusting

This store is always in disarray to say the least. It's dirty and alot of the time they are out of stuff. They have merchandise in big carts in isles and it's hard to get around.

I stop by at LEAST twice a week because I know the team here will always take care of me. I’ve been in the customer service industry for almost 10 years and I can say that when you walk into this location, you will be met with kind words and good vibes!!! Just be patient with the employees because this is a busy location but once you get the know the team, the service you will get is definitely worth it!!!

Post COVID this location has picked up it's game. Although there is a DG in Mt Healthy, I only go to this location. Well stocked, good clerks on duty.
Avoid Mt Healthy the worst.

Had a kid behind the counter threaten me for asking for space. Thought he had the moral high ground just because they were "kids" yet old enough... There's a line... Did their parents teach personal space or respect especially during these times... I'm assuming not... Happened to be on a bad day too. Plus, I'd do that to literally anyone. I do. Breathing room. Never had a issue there before other than the place being a wreck. But ?... Reasons for that. The world is overpopulated. Think I might call the "Store Manager" back and explain the situation but... Reason I haven't is because clearly they have enough overturn and I doubt they'd really do much about the situation when they need help ? "I'll put you in your place." Okay.
