1st time here, bigger version than what I am use to. Clean, well stocked, and maintained. Had lots of things I used to get at my other locations, which no longer have like Ball park hamburgers...the store is not really what prompted me to give a review of what all Dollar Generals should be like. The employee working the register is what brought me here. I had such a good experience with him I had to ask for his name. He said "AP"...I say this because I am a manager, supervisor at my job for well over 16 years and I know what I am looking for. Put this person on a fast track to management before I come back and steal him away as impressions left on me are not overlooked.

i like this Store, especially because of Alvin. A friendly and knowledgeable supervisor, should be a manager. He is customer oriented.

I just stopped in at 8:08 pm on 05/15/23 and the employee told me the store was closed through the window. Dollar general is known to be open until 10 everywhere from here to Florida. When I lived in Florida they said there's a door mechanism that basically stays open during business hours and shuts down as soon at ten pm hits. I literally just wanted one thing and was gonna be in and out. Either update your hours and go against the nationwide hours or find someone who wants to actually work. I also don't believe there could have been a system error because once again after hurricane Sally with no power the dollar general was still operational down there and did the register old school way calculators and paper. There's no excuse for the dollar general in Forest Park to be shut down right now.

I was there on march 14 at 9:27pm but they close the door so the time doesn’t work guys be careful.

Cleaner than most Dollar Generals. Still has stock blocking some aisles in the store.

You never know when it's going to be open. It is more organized than other Dollar General stores,that's about it. It's smaller in size and show is the selection. It is conveniently located, but again you never know when they are or will be open.

This store is never open. It’s advertised there hours but nobody is there. I stopped at 6:30 tonite. Had sign on door closed. This is getting ridiculous

Is never open ??2:28pm on a Thursday and the parking lot is empty. I have wasted three trips coming here and each time they are closed

I'm only giving it 3 stars because you can't seem to keep it adequately staffed and open. It's a well-stocked and convenient store that we were excited to see open in the area....until visits were thwarted by "closed" signs, or no sign posted during what should have been open for business. It wasn't a one time event either. Company management needs to hire and pay to maintain adequate staffing to serve the area. The need and income is there to be had if so.

Between this one and the one in Greenhills it's hard to find either one of them open lately. This one in particular is the worst of the 2. They're almost never open.

I go to this dollar general all the time. Its always well stocked, clean, and the staff are always great. Its definitely gonna put the family dollar down the street out of business.
