Every time I’ve been to this location I have never had any of the employees acknowledge me in any way even when I am speaking directly to them and I have never been rude, I’ve only ever asked them questions about merchandise or to thank them for ringing up my items. The store is always messy and the aisles are always jam packed with incoming merchandise that’s waiting to be stocked. Overall I would never recommended this location to anyone, ever.

I usually have an okay experience at this specific dollar tree, however, recently the store has been PACKED with carts of boxes needing stocked. Like I’m talking every isle you go down has at least 2 carts stacked to the brim. 2 weeks ago, I went in and saw a makeup display on one of the carts that I was interested in. I decided to come back a few days later, and the display still hadn’t been unboxed, and neither had anything on that cart. Fast forward two weeks, and today I went in again. There were still carts stacked with stuff, but not as many as before. However, the makeup display was still yet to be unloaded, so I decided to politely ask an employee stocking the shelves if they had any idea when the display would be unboxed. She responded kind of rudely, saying that if it’s not out they probably don’t have it. I then explained that it was on a cart that was to be stocked, and it has been for weeks. She then just shrugged her shoulders and went quiet. Not a pleasant experience.

I'm not going to get into the details, but I'm in a nearby hotel on business and I needed to grab a few things from the DT. I went their and the American American lady with the short red hair was INCREDIBLY RUDE. To the point where I want to go back in and talk to a manager or call corporate. As far as I know, though she may be the manager and Corporate did not return my call (yet).
I figured I will just give the store a bad rating. That I would be able to overlook, because, hey 👋 people are there trying to work on it, but a really rude cashier really bothers me. I hate to pull the "race card" but I feel like she was maybe acting that way bc she doesn't like white people. Whatever the case, if you are not good with people you shouldn't do that type of work.
Oh, also, the store was a disaster.

It’s almost as if the customer service was also dollar tree value. They were rude, did not communicate, and were too focused on their chatting rather than breaking the uncomfortable silence between customer and staff.

Well. Things are not a dollar at all. Afew cents more + tax. But still some good bargains.
The store was clean, no weird smells, or sounds .
Lots of ideas for crafts & knick knats. Will be back .

Don’t walk in here without the expectation of waiting 15+ minutes in line to checkout. Consistently the SLOWEST dollar store anywhere near Oakley / Hyde Park. Additionally, I have been here on multiple occasions before they are supposed to be closed, i’m talking at least half hour, and the employees won’t let you in.

As I walked in, I was told by the associate that "I could leave my bags up front." I had a reusable shopping bag (as I had just shopped at Kroger) and my backpack (which i carry all the time since I ride the bus). First of all, I am not leaving my bags with anyone but me. Secondly, I am not shopping at any store that assumes I am a shoplifter.
