I wanted to purchase 2 pairs of the exact shoes in 2 different sizes. They were marked with 2 different prices. I took both pairs to a young man working in the area and explained I wished to purchase both pairs at the lower price. He got out his phone and scanned the higher priced shoe and told me that it was an incorrect price, but still not the price of the other lower priced shoe. I again explained that I wished to purchase both pairs at the lower price. He reiterated the price that the computer told him. I thanked him and advised that I would not be purchasing any shoes and returned them to the shelf. Same shoes, different sizes, different prices!?!? Not only will I no longer shop at DSW, I make sure I tell others about my ridiculous experience.

First I do not give out five stars because nobody is perfect. Employees greet me every time I come in and they are friendly as well. Well…..what a shame. Been a long time customer. Not sure what has happened to this company but it’s just gone downhill over the last several years, and everyone I know agrees. I used to shop almost exclusively from the clearance section. I rarely left the store without a pair of shoes, sometimes 3-4 pairs. I can’t remember the last time I bought anything. I think it’s been 2 years. I’ve stopped in plenty of times but left empty handed. The clearance section is just downright unappealing and the 80% off is gone. The 70% is there but it’s clear the prices were raised to compensate. I’ve had 2 bad experiences with online ordering as well.The store has exploded with kids and athletic shoes, (as if we need another other of those), at the expense of what used to be a great selection of ladies shoes.Today I stopped in hoping to find a couple pairs of shoes. I found NOTHING! I walked every aisle including the kids because I can fit in some of those. Again I left empty. What really prompted me to write this was …. As I was walking passed the register a girl said, “ didn’t find anything?” I said no. I started to tell her that this was about my 7th visit without a purchase. But I stopped because she had rudely turned away to ring up a customer. As a long time customer, it made me feel very unimportant and like my business didn’t matter. I’m not sure i will waste my precious time or gas, shopping here again.

Ordered shoes online. Email stated they would be ready in 2 hours for SAME DAY IN STORE PICK UP. 5 hours go by, I drive 45 mins to get the shoes, they don't have them. The staff shrug and say "sorry". No apology and don't offer any solution. They tell me drive back tomorrow and see if they have them. What a joke. Definitely will be taking my business elsewhere.

If you’re going to change your store hours, update it on your website, it’s inconvenient for customers to drive to your store and hours not match with online and it’s a waste of gas. Not to mention the customer service reps that were there and started laughing as I tried to open the door. Let’s not mention it was raining hardTo sum it up they close at 8pm and 7pm on Sundays

I ordered a pair of size 10 shoes online and they gave me a pair of size 8 shoes in the store (I was confident and that's why I didn't check, the girl just gave me the shoes already in the bag) when I call the lad, she was angrier than me, additionally I asked her that I just wanted to know if my size was really available and she says no! How is it possible? they sell sizes that are not available and also bother with me as if it were my fault. Incredible!!!!!

Went to exchange shoes that were the incorrect size that i bought online. I had my receipt for the original purchase. They couldn't do an exchange for some odd reason, they could only do a return and then a new purchase for the correct size. So that's what we did since I can't wear shoes that are the incorrect size. Now I'm learning that I have to wait 7-10 business days to get my money back for the return. All for just an even exchange for the same shoe just a diffent size. This is absurd.
