I placed an order for my daughter on December 22nd. I used my $15 reward for it. They emailed me on Jan 2nd to tell me they canceled my order due to not having it in stock. This is odd, because the website said it was in stock. They then took away my $15 reward. Tried using the chat for customer service, but it was a nightmare. Tried calling customer service, but they don't pick up. I thought Eddie Bauer was a nice, respectable company, but I was wrong. They offered me a $10 reward in place of the $15 reward, then didn't even give me that back.

Good products, usually, but the lady at the desk here was definitely one of the less pleasant characters I've interacted with. I bought a hemp shirt online, washed it, and was about to iron it, when I saw a hole under the sleeve. I asked whether I could return it in-store, and she launched into a lengthy, chiding explanation that she could do this once, but couldn't do it ever again, that it would be on my account, noting that it was probably my fault. I really try to be nice to anyone in customer service (I've worked in that line myself), but her passive-aggressive and suspicious attitude makes me hesitant to buy there again. She told me suspiciously that it looked like I'd just pulled the tag out too hard. (No, ma'am, I'm a perfectionist and I clip those plastic tag things off with a pair of scissors.) I understand that shirts will have defects on occasion. In the future I'll be sure to look them over before washing like I do a rental car before driving. But she certainly could have been less demeaning and unkind.

Great customer service. Great clothing and a good overall atmosphere. I really enjoy shopping here with my fiance. They don't really seem to have a lot of clothing when it comes to variety but what they do have is really nice.

I went to Eddie Bauer, never being there before and was approached by a very helpful worker named Brad who asked if I needed help finding anything and helped me during my experience when they didn’t have my size in store. Needless to say I will be going back there. Great experience all together.

One year warranty on technical pieces is absurd. Buy from a brand they stands behind there products and isn’t in it for consumerism. I wore an arcteryx jacket for many years it started to rip at the seams they repaired it and sent it back still wearing.

I loved purchased products from Eddie Bauer for years. I have worn their jackets and coats for literally, years. The quality is amazing! With that being said, they , do have their faults. For some reason, they carry little or no selections in petite sizes. For that reason, we also shop LLBean. A huge difference between Eddie Bauer and LLBean, is their shipping!!! While Eddie Bauer purchases take weeks to arrive, LLBean takes a few days. Both great quality, but is timely shipping is an issue, go with LLBean.

Extremely RUDE associates, hastled me even though I have a medical exemption, yelling and raising there voices when communicating, Rudely interrupt you when speaking and don't listen to anything you have to say.. They don't carry my size in store so I always have to order online and am extremely hesitant to use this store for returns because of horrendous service I receive everytime I go in there.. They also screw up returns and don't refund correct amount and the rank n file associates pretend to be manager's when you ask to speak to one.. I wonder if they act this because of the area where the store is located..

How can I shop at your store when I work more hours than you are open... this 6pm bs has to change. More importantly the quality of the clothing has gone significantly downhill. I’m taking my money elsewhere. Clothing’s constantly out of stock in popular sizes and the most popular colors are no longer available. Also whoever is making these “styles” needs fired. Stop trying to be something you’re not. (On the plus side, the staff are usually very helpful and friendly. )
