Wow..showed up on time and not only were they able to complete the job which others stated was impossible, they were efficient, quick and nothing was damaged in the process...great company. I will be spreading the word to anyone that needs a mover.

Shawn and his crew were great. Punctual and moved a 650-pound fire safe to the basement of our office. They did an excellent job!

Would highly recommend! They moved a 700 pound item for us when others told us it wasn’t possible. They got it down our stairs with a pie shaped landing/turn. They were responsive and able to get us in within the week. They were polite, quick and effective! I also appreciated that our walls weren’t damaged and they made no mess, even using drop clothes to make sure the floor wasn’t scratched. Would use again!

Shawn and his crew saved the day!!!! We were remodeling and had a large built in fridge we didn’t want and tried two companies who said they couldn’t get it out or that it was too hard. They walked in and just got to it. Clearly there is to challenge too heavy, too narrow or too complicated for them. All with a great attitude and just nice to work with. Did I mention they fit me in with little notice. Totally recommend.

I have been meaning to post this review but have gotten behind on things.
Elam and sons helped my family move last September. They showed up promptly and were incredibly efficient and safe with moving all items. They also were willing to wait on us to box up some items because we weren’t fully packed, as they wanted to put as much as they could on the truck. They kept everything clean despite it raining on the day of the move.

5+++ stars! Elam and Sons were amazing! They moved us out of a 3 story house with lots of steps on an extremely hot and humid day and never complained. Positive attitudes and very hard workers all around. They took great care with our antiques and piano. Prompt, courteous and reliable. Will definitely call them for the next move!

Just had these great guys move the grand piano for me! It was like watching a work of art… Incredible teamwork, care, attention to detail, the move was absolutely smooth without a hitch into a fairly difficult building. And what reasonable pricing too!

Writing this review because my husband refuses to get a Google account. These guys are awesome! They moved our safe within a few days of my husband’s call after another company had failed to move our new safe. They quickly and easily moved the monster of a safe (750lbs) down our basement stairs with a 90-degree-turn landing, and with no damage to our walls and floors. If you need help moving heavy items, we highly recommend Elam & Sons Moving!

Shawn and his team were absolutely amazing! From the start Shawn was kind and professional. They helped us move from northern Kentucky all the way to Chicago. They also packed for us the day before and everything was well organized and very easy to unpack. Nothing was broken or lost! Both apartments were up several flights of stairs but his team had no trouble packing up and unpacking all of our things in no time at all! If I could give him 8 stars I would!

This group was amazing. From the day that Shawn took the time to do an actual walkthrough of our home for an estimate, I felt confident.
The day before our move I got a call letting us know their arrival time, and they were 5 minutes early too.
All 4 men were fantastic. Friendly, efficient, quick, experienced, and strong as hell.
We couldn't have been happier with their moving service.
Absolutely recommend this group.

They were professional, efficient and did a fantastic job! I have some very heavy and challenging antique pieces of furniture and they moved everything without a scratch. I will definitely use them for any future moves!
