I live in the neighborhood and can’t say enough positive things about this wonderful org. So community minded with amazing support of and partnership with Tender Mercies and putting out really beautiful work in a meaningfully accessible way. Check them out!!

My first time at the theatre was to see Jajas African Hair Braiding play and it was great. The staff welcoming everyone was nice and the cast did a great job. The theatre is a little small but it can fit just enough people. Cant wait to go back again for another event.

The play was well-performed and mysterious. Good conversations after the play.

We managed to get tickets for Hands on a Hardbody through a local veteran's ticket group. If not for that we probably would have never visited the Ensembe Theatre. It was a great experience and location right in the heart of downtown. Thank you to the Ensemble Theatre for donating the tickets and allowing us to check out an amazing show!

Great show, great house. Last night's show was the epitome of thoughtful, intimate, emotional, inspirational live theater in a small house.

I would give 5 stars over again. This is what nlu my maybe less than 5x seeing a play / live performances & that's including the times in grade school we were drug around to see things. Sooo .. I didnt expect to much out of it or didnt really know what to expect . I mean --- I know it's play !------- Over all, it was absolutely wonderful & energetic, the set was just right, lots of room for the actor movements. To much to list.------- you could bring your grandma here, or your behaved child, ( if they can sit still for awhile, they will be in aw ! , my children loved FIONA, on the edge of their seats watching the actors. )------- I will most definitely, be looking into the next performances or shows & look forward to going back. There's a good chance I will go to see FIONA again& bring people.------- the choice for the actor - characters was spot on ! !!Only complaint ------ I was really REALLY hoping They'd or the ostrich to name drop FPM , earlier on in the show..

We were afforded the gift and priveledge to bring two of our grandkids to see Fiona, the musical. We all thoroughly enjoyed the show, dancing, and singing. The boys were engaged throughout the whole perrformance and truly captivated. The seats all have wonderful views of the stage.

Nice little theatre located in OTR. It's got no bad seats and a killer mezzanine to relax in or just people watch. The show we saw was Fiona the Hippo and it had so many cute songs in it. Lots of funny references to the area and to give adults a chuckle. I was impressed with the sound and set. The characters interacted with the crowd nicely. The seats are comfortable enough and they have special drinks and cookies geared towards the show. Cute little bar area with tables for you to sit. They have elevator and bathrooms on each floor. Third floor bathroom was clean and had a picture in it. We walked around to see photos of past shows which was impressive. I definitely will be back!

Ok I don't know what kind of jerk gives a local theater less than 5 stars but yet, here I am. I'm the jerk. Local arts. I've become small budget obsessed. #supportlocalpassion Maybe hire someone to work the bar more hours thus more money at the bar. It's local theater. I'll be a fan. Always a fan. But leave the bar open!!!
