Eye 1 was founded over 25 years ago in Yellow Springs, Ohio. True, it was an unusual burg (we had bovine neighbors) to open a high-end, unique eyewear store. Word spread quickly about the eyewear store that carried unbelievably cool frames and we became a destination for folks far and wide. Fast forward to 2000 when we opened the the Hyde Park location. in 2005 we closed the Yellow Springs store and opened a store in Dayton. Our selection may vary by store, but frames are easily transferred.
So efficient and sweet! Needed new screws on my vintage sunglasses. Not only did they fix the issue quickly, they also gave me complimentary new nose pads.

We came from out of town and had a temple emergency. The Eye1 crew was very professional and welcoming. From their quick service to large curation of frames, we would 110% recommend.

I purchased frames over 10 plus years, they replaced with new prescription lenses, tightened everything up. With a prescription sunglasses, everything was perfect. This place will have all kinds of unique frames. The staff is always helpful. The saying you pay for what you get is so true.
