Stopped because the tire pressure light went off. Asked if they could check my tire pressure the mechanic said sure. He filled the tire and saw a screw and told me.

Had good luck with this place until recently. Ignored my appointment, pushed back until following day, Mechanic stripped my oil plug. Manager called and because of them I had to get a new oil pan. 2 days later my simple oil change cost me nearly $800. You have been warned.

Took my car in because the brake line blew & for a diagnostic for a check engine light.
They fixed the brake line, but the pedal was still going to the floor.
Took it back. They said they could bleed the brakes properly without replacing the caliper.
Why didn't they say that the day before? Cost me a 2nd trip!!
As far as the check engine light, I knew it was a misfire in cylinder 4. The car seemed to be working fine before I took it in. However now it seems like only 3 of the 4 cylinders are working.
I don't know how they performed a diagnostic and ended up making my car far, far worse.
I can't recommend going here.

Awful experience would not recommend. Bad communication, took way too long to complete. Totally regret not waiting another day and taking my car to a real mechanic.

Appointment reason:
Tire Patch, nail in tread of tire. (Patchable, Toyota dealer that diagnosed this does no do tire patches)
Time to repair: 8 total days, 3 or 4 working days (over Thanksgiving)
Upon the mechanic taking the tire off, I was informed that the bead of the tire ripped. This occurred on an OEM Toyota tire with ~12.5k miles.
I was then called and asked how I would like to proceed, with the notion that I am responsible for paying for the new tire to be replaced.
I didn’t take kindly to my new found tire bill, as my $26 repair has now turned into a $200+ new tire. (Not to mention it won’t have the same wear patterns and could lead to the rest of the tires wearing quicker)
In refuting to pay for the new tire, I was informed that they “could have not told me it tore, and put the tire back on and hoped it was okay”. From this point forward I knew there was going to be an issue.
The new tire was ordered and I was asked if Tuesday (6 days from drop off) was an acceptable timeline.
I then stopped in Tuesday before close to check on the fix, in which case I was informed that they had the tire in, it just hadn’t been put on yet. I do appreciate the mechanic on site communicating with me; he was just trying his best to help me as a customer.
I now (Wednesday) received the vehicle back, and agreed on a $50+ tax price for the new tire. A reasonable price, but one that came with a week without my car, no call to inform me that my car was not going to be done on the agreed timeline, and a sideways comment or two that could’ve jeopardized my wife and family’s safety.
My expectation of this issue:
The shop destroyed the tire, they should have covered the tire and offered to expedite the tire or a rental car in the time of waiting.
When delays occurred, I expect to be communicated as such, I should not have to be the polling party.
If the tire were to be an OEM defect, it is now their responsibility to recoup that money, not mine. Playing the blame game isn’t what I wanted to be doing over thanksgiving.

Do not come here at all.I came here 3 times before I went to Florida because my car was having issues the first time I came in it was an “alignment”well after I left my car pulled me 3 ft into the right lane so I took it back and I got it back still pulled me 3 ft over and it also was pulling me to the left .I took it back again they said it probably wasn’t an alignment so they were gonna do a inspection they didn’t do a full inspection and found lose screws and the left was out of line.they told me my car was 100% good to take to Florida.well on the way there my right brake caliper got stuck,I needed all new brake pads new rotors and my brake hose was broken. The Firestone in Florida told me it was a miracle my tire didn’t catch fire because it got all the way up to 800 degrees and when I asked if the Firestone in Ohio should’ve noticed they said yes “you were pointing them to the problem” so when I was in Florida on a family vacation with a 4 month old baby I had to spend 1,581.06 because of their negligence and a faulty repair.Well I also called 8/3 was supposed to get a call from the area manager 8/5 still have yet to receive the call even though we told them we were stuck in Florida my boyfriends step father called them 8/5 to hear from area manager Nick and never got a call so on 8/7 he called corporate again and was waiting another 48 hours to from the regional manager well today is 8/12 and still have not received a call from them.Im supposed to get a call from the store manager tomorrow but I honestly doubt it.Please don’t go here they don’t care about your safety at all ,I will never trust them again or trust them with anyone else .My car almost caught fire and exploded with my boyfriend ,4 month old baby, and my boyfriends brother and they also know this information but still have not contacted me.Im seriously ready to take legal action if I don’t get some kind of refund for the faulty repair and if the tech doesn’t get fired. This wasn’t a 1 times mistake it was 3 times and people could’ve died because of their negligence.I worry that someone will die because of their negligence and I won’t stop until something is done with faulty repair and negligence. I also would rate this place a 0 if I could but unfortunately I can’t.

I recently went to the beechmont location to get a tire patched. I was greeted by a woman with long brown hair who did not have a very pleasant attitude. After waiting about 15 minutes she finally tells me that their getting ready to pull my car into the bay. I sit in the lobby for a little over 30 minutes for her to come back and tell me that the tire cannot be patched as it is out of the patch zone. I then proceeded to ask her what the mechanic was doing that took 30 minutes before I was told that my tire could not be fixed. When the question was asked she rudely told me that my car was given a courtesy check that I was not informed about prior to it getting pulled in the bay. I get this is something you do for courtesy but it would be nice to know why you are lifting my hood when Im just simply coming to get a tire fixed. She then rudely informed the mechanic to finish with my car and proceeded to talk about me loudly while she was in the garage. Not only was she rude but completely unprofessional and I waited for 30 minutes for you guys to complete a courtesy check before you ever even looked at my tire which was the initial reason why I came. If you're going to have somebody in the lobby that is greeting people and checking people out you should probably have someone who is going to greet people with kindness and respect and inform them of the services that they are about to receive. I will absolutely never return there!!

The customer service was excellent. Unfortunately the tires I quoted online were unavailable in the store. So I had to pay more for tires then I expected.

They have the best service here with your best interest, it’s my favorite Firestone branch! Generally, they are quick and efficient, though this branch does get a lot of customers on the weekend so you might have to leave behind your car for the day.
