Always loved HPB, but disappointed that they stopped charging half the cover price on pocket paperbacks. Now really old copies are overpriced, and it's not a fun to bargain shop.

We LOVE your location, typically. We bought 10 items and could not leave with a bag unless we paid $1.50! What? I understand if you ran out but your most unhappy clerk, black curly hair and red mask, but he offered no explanation other than to buy a tote bag! Of course we'll be back and hopely have more common courtesy, friends 🧡

Great selection. Clean store. Going to the bathroom is a hassle because all stores share a bathroom in the lobby area and you need a key.
