We booked to visit the Zoo, and because our kids love to stay in hotels to swim. We called before we booked to make sure there was a pool, but when we arrived the pool was closed. We were told it would be open in the morning, so we called the front desk when we woke up to ask if it was open and we were told it was. We headed down to the pool with our kids, and it was closed. The woman at the front desk had no clue it was open, and said she would call and let us know. About 10 minutes later she lets us know that it will be closed for another 24 hours. On top of that, the beds were horrendous and uncomfortable. The staff was not friendly and had terrible communication skills. The only redeeming part was the breakfast that was surprisingly edible. Would not recommend, and we will not be staying here again.

The hotel charged me twice after I already paid via travel agency. The manager didn't care and was no help. Feels like they don't have experienced employees here. Not a very safe feeling area or atmosphere in the lobby or outside. Some people that i think were employees, hanging out in the lobby drinking like its a street corner or something. Breakfast and location were good.

WARNING: NOT SAFE TO STAY HERE!! We stayed at this location last night (10/13) and when I came out this morning at 5:30am I found that my trucks left rear window had been broken out & my truck had been rummaged through. As it turns out, there were 13 other vehicles that had the same damage. Needless to say, the lot was covered in shattered glass & a lot of upset guests. No resolution was offered by the manager on staff, no call back from corporate. This is a well lit lot, that is directly outside the glass entry way. The night security guard was not patrolling, and leaves at 4am. Ridiculous & unacceptable.10/14Do yourself a favor (I didn't) read the reviews about safety before booking here. Stolen catalytic converters, broken windows, theft & etc. Alexandria has been anything but helpful.Safety: Not safe to stay here

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was quiet. I enjoyed our check-in with the staff.

The only positive about this place was the convenient location, right by Children's Hospital and the University (so great food and drink options within walking distance). On a road trip and stayed in other Hampton Inns along the way, so good side-by-side comparison. This was by far the worst of 3. Zero customer service, no offered snacks for Honors members, breakfast was terrible, beds were hard slabs, furnishings and carpets were all from 1980?, other than maybe the lobby. You can see the employee fridge with a glass door from one of the windows as you walk by - it was full of beer, thought that was weird. Only stayed here because some other places were booked, will avoid if possible in the future.Food & drinks: They don't have the usual small fridge in the breakfast area. Anything that should be stored cold like cream cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt just sit out at room temp all morning. I would skip breakfast to avoid the pending trips to the toilet later.

As far as service. From the service I had received was great. However the things that go on behind the scenes with the employees is horrible. My daughter worked at this location and is under the Americans Disability Act for Epilepsy. During her time there. She was deprived lunch breaks(to eat in order to take her medication. She was questioned and bad mouthed when needing to use the bathroom. She decided she couldn’t take anymore and quit. Alexandria one of the upper employees there. Put my daughter on the no trespassing list because she quit. Yes she didn’t give a notice. She had to think about her health overall. Alexandria also withheld money my daughter was legally in tilted as well. Which all this is being documented. Because now Alexandria has a personal problem with my daughter. She banned her from being on the property of the hotel. My daughter hasn’t violated any law to be banned other than making this woman mad because she quit. Also Alexandria best friend Mary is on the payroll as a manger. Here is the interesting part. Mary is no longer employed at this hotel. However Alexandria has her on the payroll. Which I wonder what the owners would think about this. Then they are housing known drug addicts in some of the rooms. Including a man who committed Domestic Violence against a female on the premises of the hotel. There is so much going on at this hotel. That’s why I’m glad my daughter did leave to a better job. Also they have one of the guests information out to her ex who she was hiding from at the time. The man was able to get access to this woman room. Attack her and almost killed her. They kicked the woman out. The woman had to call the police to get help. The hotel tried to cover their tracks up and put the blame on the victim.I personally will never give my money to this particular hotel again after all the behind the scene non sense I discovered. Stay clear of this hotel. The staff isn’t what you think.

Avoid, the floors are sticky, the lobby is hot. The door lock ran out of battery, so they had to call the maintenance guy in to break into our room so we can get our stuff. Made us wait in the lobby till 1030 pm, instead of just giving us a room to wait in. (that they ended up having to give us any way because the lock was broke)It's not in a quite area and there isn't great sound proofing.Breakfast was mid to poor.Coffee was good.

The rooms were nice, however not worth 265 for one night. Not only that you have to pay to park there 10 a night for a place you are already paying 200 dollars to stay at. That was not enough when you get there you have to pay a 50 dollar "incident" fee that does not make sense like the 265 was not enough. The breakfast was okay but does not match the hotel.Rooms: Nice room, but wouldn't say they were nicer than other average hotels

I booked a room here because my daughter had appointments at the hospital. The person I spoke with trying to get a room booked was absolutely amazing (wish I could remember her name so I could recognize her personally).I would highly recommend staying here!!!

I think when somebody, in this case, an employee. Goes out of their way and makes positive things happen, they should be recognized. McKenna! You are truly todays rock star in my families book. As I write this, my grandson is in an ambulance headed to UC Children's Hospital. My son and his wife were unprepared to have their newborn son swept away by medical professionals miles from home. You responded quickly and that afforded them a comfortable place to rest once the baby is admitted into the hospital. We appreciate you and all your efforts, more than these words can convey.

Requested accessible room for our stay and it exceeded our needs and expectations. The long table in the room was perfect for wheelchair accessibility as was the roll in shower. Staff was very accommodating in providing extra pillows, towels and prompt checking on ac and phone that was not working. Very pleasant stay. Will def recommend ?Nearby activities: In town for a soccer game. Easy access to several sport stadiums as well as other forms of entertainmentFood & drinks: Many food choices in the area as well as grocery store and liquor store.
