Honey baked ham is always a good choice. We like their ham, with or without a bone. The smoked Turkey breast and bacon are also too w choices for has. The service at holiday times gets a little crazy. Highly recommend ordering ahead during holidays to ensure you can get what you want. Ham makes great eggs benedict too.

I have been buying honey baked hams for a number of years because I always found it to be an excellent quality ham. Unfortunately that was not the case this year! I purchased a 9lb half ham for $86 to serve at our Thanksgiving dinner (11/24/22) for my large family. The ham was extremely dry, brittle with a horrible test! It appeared to be old! It was so bad, nobody ate it. Here is a pic of the amount that was left over after dinner, which doesn't include all the ham that was thrown away, once someone put in on their plate and tried it! Please keep in mind that there were over 30 people in attendance. Fortunately, we also served turkey, so the meal was not totally a disaster! Very, very disappointing, especially once you consider the cost!

I stopped here on Thursday around 5:30pm to get a sandwich for dinner. I have been here before to buy a large Honeybaked ham for group gatherings, but not to buy a sandwich. The person at the counter was super friendly and helpful. I ordered "The Honeybaked", which had ham, Swiss cheese, mayo, mustard, crispy fried onions, pickles, lettuce, and tomato on a ciabatta roll and was served hot. I got it "standard" and thought it was a bit of an odd combination of ingredients, but this was an awesome sandwich! Although it was just under $8, it was well worth the money, and I would definitely get it again. I have to admit that I had not thought of the HB store being a place to get a great sandwich, but I'm glad I did. They have plenty tof tables, a soda fountain station, and even a nice gas fireplace. Although I got my sandwich to go, it is a very clean and comfortable place to dine in.

Wouldn't let me look at a 2nd ham. Said it was because of the Pandemic. I tried to show her my vaccination card but she was very rude and told me to move along. Now I have the worst ham I've ever bought from this once of friendliest place. I don't think I'll be buying another for Christmas.

So, the food quality is really good. I thought ordering would be a convenient way to pickup extra holiday items I don't cook because I'm plant-based with meat and dairy eaters as guests. The short story is they advertise that your order will be ready for you. My order was not ready. A staffer scanned my code and then grabbed my phone and was looking at my order. I was kind of shocked but I'm not a total germaphobe so I got over that. What I haven't gotten over is the items they gave me weren't on my order. Okay, so NOT convenient to drive there twice to get the right stuff. Also, NO one apologized, or cared or compensated me for my bad experience. NOT that they have to, but next time I'll find another place to purchase holiday foods for my meat and dairy-loving guests. NOT a honey baked ham customer any more.

I am very upset with Honeybaked Ham located in Columbus Ohio/Gahanna location. I ordered two turkey breast for Thanksgiving for pick up today, 11/25. I received confirmation via email my request went through. I go to pick them up and I'm told. I'm sorry we are totally out of turkey. I know have no turkey for my family for Thanksgiving. Not once was I contacted prior to my arrival to let me know this. Thumbs down Honeybaked

I ordered my Thanksgiving meal online on November 8th & prepaid for the order only to be told today when I went to pick up the food during my assigned window that they only had the mashed potatoes. They told me that they have been shorted for days & I told them that if they have known about this for days then I should have received a call that this was a possibility. I will NEVER use Honeybaked Ham again!

Stopped in for lunch, had a BOGO coupon from doing survey. Not worth it, won't be back. Ham and Swiss on whole wheat w lettuce and tomato is what I ordered. I received a ham and I think, yellow American cheese with rotten, black edged curled lettuce and more tomato core than tomato. I am glad I opened it and looked. You don't serve, or shouldn't serve lettuce that has black rotted edges. The whole wheat bread was stale and dry. I threw away more of the sandwich than I ate. Not the place to go for lunch in my opinion.

I purchased a ham and other items last year during Thanksgiving and plan to do the same this year. The food is delicious and the customer service is excellent.

This is my favorite location - always friendly and clean at lunch. But.............who made the decision to not use rye bread anymore. Come on - it's a ham place and rye bread is married to ham. Very disappointing and probably won't be there for lunch anymore. Not everyone wants multi grain bread. There is the croissant and sub buns, but where's the rye?

Really disappointed in Honeybake. They have three major seasons of the year (Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter). If you eat lunch plan on striking off the list as they stop serving lunch during the three high peak times. It's their lunch business that keeps the stores open all rest of the year. Additionally they keep changing the offered items for lunch. Such as they had macaroni salad and switched to a mayo based potato salad with bacon and then to a low cost generic mustard base potato salad. As for their Hams the last two I bought were not good quality. As you moved down the bone they got very fatty and tough. On we end up throwing half out. There smoked Turkey breast has been good every time. Honey bake used to be very consistent but buyer beware.

Here's a company that really doesn't seem to care about good customer service. Makes one wonder what other details they do not care about. Our bad experience begins with an early morning trip to this location to get a couple of packages of ham slices. We were told on the phone by an employee that they only put out a certain number of packages of the ham slices and they sell quickly. We were further told that when they're gone, no others will be put out. We were advised that they would not hold any for us and that we would have to get there early if we wanted the packaged slices. My wife and I are older, there's only two of us. We do not need a whole ham. So we got up extra early in order to get some for our Christmas dinner. We drove 25 miles one way to get to the store. When we arrive, my wife goes into the store and is asked what she's looking for by a Honey Baked Ham employee. Packages of ham slices she responds. The employee directs her to a refrigeration unit and tells her that the ham slices are in this unit. My wife purchases two packages and we drive the 25 miles back home. Fast forward to later that afternoon. We decide to have a little taste of the ham. We open the package only to find that it's turkey! Yes, both packages are turkey. We didn't drive 25 miles one way at seven o'clock in the morning to buy turkey. We don't really care that much for turkey and again, we had intended to have the ham for our Christmas dinner. We called the store and explained that we were directed to this unit for the ham slices and got turkey. The individuals we spoke with didn't seem to care about us at all. We were told that they couldn't do anything about this and that if we wanted to get any ham slices we would need to make the 25 mile drive again tomorrow at 7:00am. So, to summarize, after being directed to a cooler full of turkey, we would need to drive to their store two mornings in a row at 7:00am. This does not take into account the number of unnecessary miles driven or the $25.00 plus dollars spent for the product we were sold that we didn't even want. Merry Christmas to them, too. I decided to call their corporate headquarters in Georgia. Ha, that was a complete waste of time! My call was taken by some sort of call center. I could hear many other individuals taking calls. I was dumbstruck. Are they really getting this many complaints? I was told by the call taker that she could file a complaint for me. I explained that I'd like to speak with someone, perhaps a supervisor. She told me that she would connect me with a supervisor. I was on hold for at least 10 minutes. When my call was finally taken, it was yet another call center employee. This person took my complaint and that was it. I don't call this good customer service. I call it a complete disregard for long standing customers. Perhaps we'll be former customers after this debacle. Good luck Honey Baked Ham. Don't bother to care about your loyal customers. Just make all of the money you can. Poor, just poor.
