I had my taxes done by Mrs Sharon shops hire I wasnt able to pick my paperwork up so they shredded them but charged me 20p dollars to do my last 3 yrs of taxes one year had a coupon n was ready got excepted have seen anything from this year's n it's never got the taxes for this year what the hell

A certified Karen bethany / beth get a life or hobby please. Im not the first or second to complain about the person but yet we can act like shes not a problem. Bathany or Beth ( at the eastgate location) was extremely rude. My taxes got sent out apparently 2 weeks ago that they couldn’t acknowledge, just said it was wrong & they didn’t yet. couldn’t get any answers from them. had to call the actual emerald card through h&r block to get an answer. “Honey, I’m talking about irs.gov not h&r” I knew that but sure. I’ve never in my life dealt with such a rude person. When i asked for her name “I’ve been here for 24 years” like anyone cares. She’s miserable with her life & job it’s obvious, very hostile from the jump. You would think she’s the one that lost hundreds & hundreds of dollars from her taxes from her tone.

Here was my problem with doing my taxes with the tax professionals at H&R Block: Pricing and Price transparency. I had done my taxes with them the year previous and in the year previous had expected to pay a somewhat higher price because I had a combination of W-2s and 1099 forms that were from multiple states. However, when I returned this year I had 3 W-2s from the same state as opposed to the 6 total forms I had the previous year, so this year I was expecting the price to be a little different. Possibly lower but definitely at least the same. I was not told ahead of time what the cost was going to look like, I was not told until the end of my appointment what the overall cost was. This tax season my meeting with a professional cost over $100 more, making my $330 payment the year previous go to almost $500. Which really would’ve been nice to know or be informed about, especially since my taxes went from being extremely complicated to very simple. The main advertising I’ve seen about using H&R Blocks Professional Tax assistance have raved about price transparency, and I did not experience that.

Do not use these people. 3 years after they didn’t file my state with federal, the state is saying I owe them like 2k. The tax preparer looks into it only to say she will fix it in the time period allowed, but is unreachable. These people will take your money, and claim they have your back if they make an error. Simply not true. They’ll just never return your calls. Go with a better place.

The worst experience filling my taxes. I work in anther state than where I live so I had two state tax returns to file. I filed with Angie originally and somehow both my state taxes were filed incorrectly. One state sent me a letter saying I owed more money than H&R block said I would. Then the other state after week of not receiving my refund told me that the form that was filed electronically said I was not owed a refund so they weren't sending me one and now I have to refile the correct form and wait the 4-6 weeks all over again to get my refund. Then when I finally got someone from H&R Block to call me they tried telling me that my return had to be mailed in when the person that actually filed my taxes said and did otherwise. This person then also turned around after telling me this and faxed that same state return for me? No one seems to know what they are talking about here and for someone who doesn't make this there full time job this has been very confusing. I will not be filing here ever again and you shouldn't either. It is expensive and they are not helpful when things go wrong.

Good place good people they all know what their doing... it reall easy and love tex season... the Only reason I gave them a 4 out of 5 starr is because the prices their for them to do them is alittle over price to do them but that normally most place it an awesome place love tex season
