I came in a little nervous as I had a past tax issue that needed addressed before preceding with current tax filing.Ms. Moore was not only very welcoming and in a good disposition but very professional as she calmly got me through the process. She obviously knows what she’s doing as she explained each step so I wasn’t in the dark and this was, by far, my best tax experience anywhere. She is great representation and JH will most certainly be a repeat for me in the future. Thanks, Chad

Mike was efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, and really made me feel he sincerely wanted the best for his clients. I learned several things I had not known previously regarding eligible tax credits which was a big advantage regarding my refund. This is my 2nd year using this service & I will be a long term client!

NEVER AGAIN! Made an appointment for 1:30 today with Hugh for our daughter followed by my husband and I. We arrived promptly at 1:30 and Hugh told us we would have to wait. He apparently didn't write down our appointment and was "confused" about when we were coming in and was helping someone else. He met with our daughter beginning at 3:00, an hour and 1/2 after her appointment time. Our daughter is a college student working part time...he finally wrapped up with her an hour and 1/2 later at 4:30. We finally got to meet with him about 4:40 and pulled out of the parking lot at 6:10...what a joke. I also would like to add that my husband had been earlier in the week and met with Hugh Evans for over an hour and 1/2 when he dropped off last year's tax returns and w-2's for us and my daughter. We were under the impression we were coming in to go over final details and sign our returns. The other thing that was really irritating was that no apologies were made regarding our forgotten appointment or the fact that we were in the office for over 4 and 1/2 hours...terrible customer service! Also, the bathroom was filthy and there was no paper towels. We will never go back there!Update: After vowing NEVER to go back to the Mt. Washington location, last year we went to the Jackson Hewitt location at Eastgate where we were taken care of by Danielle who was extremely courteous, professional and fast. We were in and out in 30 minutes! Danielle needs a raise and is a stellar representative of the company, if you lose her, my husband and my 2 adult children will go elsewhere!Today my husband and I went back to the Eastgate location hoping to see Danielle but we're greeted by the rude Hugh Evans...AGAIN...we couldn't believe it! We left Mt. Washington to get away from this clown. We almost walked out but we had already scheduled our appointment and was praying he had improved. Hugh started off by accusing us of being late for our 11:30 appointment, which we were not. After I showed him the time on my cell phone he says...ok your right. The man flipping types with one finger. We sat there for a half hour watching him rifle through our schedules and then asked if we could come back later since we were not going to spend another 4 hours waiting for him to finish like we did 2 years ago! So we came home...thank God! It is now after 3:30 and he has not called to say boo, 4 hours after our appointment ?How is it Danielle can finish our taxes in an hour and this joker takes HOURS? Why is he still with your company?Oh and I think it's pretty funny that Hugh Evans actually got on here and gave his office a 5 star rating?

I had a great experience. My tax return was not too complicated. I was still treated honorably. The man, Mike Gorrell, that took care of doing my tax return was kind, patient w me, and professional. The office area was very clean. Masks were worn by him and I. Hand Santizer was available too. I did need to schedule an appointment which was fine w me. I was delayed and called to reschedule. Mike was understanding and was able to give me a later one the same day. He explained things to me very well. I will go to him next time. I recommend him & JH Tax Service to others for great quality of work.

I didn't need an appointment and the staff was super friendly! I left confident I got the most out of my return this year!
