AVOID this dealership, WRONGFULLY VOIDS WARRANTY bc I refused to believe I needed repairs they said I needed done to my car. COMPLETE SCAM and the manager WILL NEVER respond to your calls, NOT JUST ME EITHER.. READ OTHERS!!

I brought my Mazda 3 to Jake Sweeney Mazda for a soft brake pedal, and this has been one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I left with a bill over $2,500 for major brake repairs, yet they have not been able to provide any actual diagnostic tests, any technician notes, or any photos that prove the parts on my vehicle needed to be replaced.
Even after multiple requests, they still have not produced a single diagnostic code from my car. Instead, they sent generic “trouble tree” screenshots and examples from other vehicles that had nothing to do with my situation. They cannot show evidence of what failed, what they saw, or why thousands of dollars in work were necessary. They are asking customers to simply “take the technician’s word for it,” with zero documentation. That is unacceptable.
They also claimed the old parts were “available for pickup,” yet never explained which parts were replaced, never showed proof of failure, and never walked me through what was wrong at any step of the process. All communication was vague and reactive. I was never informed in real time, never given details, and never shown anything that justified the cost.
To make matters worse, Amber was extremely unhelpful throughout this experience. She could not explain the repairs, did not understand the documentation I asked for, and repeatedly replied with generic statements instead of real answers. Her lack of knowledge made the entire process even more frustrating.
Adam, the service manager, has also ignored multiple calls and still has not returned any messages. There has been no accountability and no urgency about resolving the situation or providing proper documentation.
As a young woman, this experience made me feel taken advantage of, dismissed, and not taken seriously. The lack of transparency and communication is alarming. It genuinely feels like women and young drivers are easy targets for unnecessary repairs and inflated charges here.
I was also charged more than what I was originally told, with no clear explanation of why the cost increased. Because of this and the complete lack of documentation to support these repairs, I will be filing a complaint with my credit card company and with the Better Business Bureau.
I strongly advise anyone, especially women, to avoid this service department. Do not authorize anything unless they give you printed diagnostics, technician notes, and the physical parts in your hand. Based on my experience, you will not receive transparency unless you demand it. I will not be returning.

2022 cx5 purchased certified with 11,000 miles. Puchase experience was decent. Normal games and hussles. Then comes service. 2nd oil change told I need new battery. 3rd oil change, I need new tires. Less than 26,000 total miles and less than 1 year ownership after being fully inspected/certified and already needs nearly $1000 in replacements? Also replaced wiper blades myself. 2 weeks later they said I needed new ones for $50. Feels like anytime I go in for simple service, they're going to try to sell me anything and everything they can. I'll be trying a different sweeney dealership in hopes of maintaining their lifetime protection plan. If it’s the same stuff elsewhere, I may forget about their lifetime protection and go with my trusted local mechanic. Was also informed I can't have anyone but sweeney replace battery or tires without voiding lifetime protection. Whatever they say at whatever cost is what you're stuck with.

Buyer beware- they may not be telling the truth about work done to used cars they are selling. I had a great purchasing experience from Jake Sweeney Mazda West in Feb of 2025, I purchased a 2022 CX-5. When purchasing my car I was very clear on asking what work had been done to the car, explaining to management that I had previously had a bad car buying experience and wanted to ensure they were being transparent with me. They ensured me everything on the work order sheet had been completed and provided me with a copy. Last week my car battery totally died, we replaced the battery and upon pulling it out noticed it was a battery dated November 2020. When I purchased the car I was told a brand new battery had been installed and the paperwork matched, but clearly that did not occur. Upon contacting the dealership today they said they won’t reimburse me and would’ve only assisted me if I had towed my car to them (30 minutes away from my house) and that the battery that we pulled out of the car wasn’t even a Mazda battery (it has a Mazda sticker on it so I’m not sure what that’s about). I am extremely disappointed to not only have been once again lied to by a dealership.

Today is exactly 1 year since I bought my Mazda CX50 and I LOVE IT! It was the best experience I’ve ever had buying a car! Steve was excellent, there was no pressure and he really took the time to work with me and helped me figure out my budget! The whole staff there was so kind and always had a smile on there face!
Their service department is excellent, clean and very attentive!
I’ve always bought Hondas and I got so much more for my money with the Mazda!

A niece selection of quality cars. But in era where many car dealers are starting to wise up and discard the nonsense that has been the trademark of their profession for so long, Jake Sweeney will still shamelessly roll out the “paint protection package” trick and the “Here, sign this piece of copy paper I just scribbled on” trick. It’s 2025. Don’t reward these practices. Go elsewhere.

I had a great experience with Jake Sweeney Mazda West! The staff were kind, helpful, and genuinely worked with me to get to a number I felt good about. They made the process incredibly convenient by letting me finalize all the details over text and email, so when I came in, it was quick and easy—just sign and drive. Couldn’t be happier with how smooth everything went. Highly recommend!

My back hatch alarm got stuck and had been going off for several days while the vehicle was moving in either direction. I stopped by unannounced on a hot Friday afternoon (102 degrees) and Erin and Cam came out and fixed it immediately. NO CHARGE! The silence that they returned to me is such a relief. Incredible customer service and very knowledgeable about Mazdas!!

Do not come here for Service. I recently had my Mazda Cx-5 serviced last month. They did not fix any of the issues concerning my car. I took to the Mazda in tri-county and found my timing belt is worn out, valve cover leaking, and I need suspension work. This place is horrible charged me $400 for oil and cabin filter change including the diagnostic!!!!

We bought a vehicle today with Jake Sweeney and I cannot say enough positive things. Our sales person, Cameron was incredible. He was immediately extremely attentive to our wants and needs and did an amazing job getting us a vehicle that fit our budget. The sales team as well as the finance team was a dream to work with. Highly recommend!
